Chi: I'm also wondering if it's weight based. I consistantly had mine overweight but took perfect care and kept getting anything but a mimitchi/mametchi.. weight and food perhaps are the controlling factors?

My friend got Young Mimitchi then Mimitchi, it is possible to do. Food and weight may be the last factors we need.

Yes Chi, I did keep disciplining Spark even after his bar was full.

Thank you.  Are there any estimates on how high you can get the weight before you won't get Mametchi/Mimitchi?  I've been playing a game at three-four pounds over minimum weight.  Should I always play the game as soon as I am allowed to?

I'm guessing the Mimitchi diet is sushi and apples.  Correct me if I'm wrong, please.  Is it the same for getting a Mametchi?

Mine are often in the 30-40 pound area. So 10-20 overweight. Now I've been keeping my current two down as low as possible.. I'll be sure to post if I get anything different this time around.

It's really have to be feeding thing.

Like, I'm in 2nd generation, I took perfect care for the newborn, kept it's weight down near 5lbs, succeeded in Notes game every time, discipline 1 time already, but I still got Kuchitamatchi...which is, as far as I know the worst kodomo (=child) Tama in V3

I fed him only cereals and corn dogs(?) (the first snack), and I'm going to continue using these meals as an experiment.

The only time I fed my Tama only sushi and apples and took pretty good, but not perfect care, I got Mimitchi.

Well, once you're on a generation other than first, the ranks of the characters change.  You get Mizutamatchi and Tamatchi from parents with low discipline levels, and Mohitamatchi and Kuchitamatchi from parents with high discipline levels.  So you must have had a high-discipline parent.  Still, though, I think Kuchitamatchi is the worst of the pair.  Perhaps that is food related.

HUGE update:

http://www.freewebs.com/tamacraze101/tamagotchiv3.htm

This link is an actual V3 Tamagotchi chart!  We can't be sure if it is accurate, of course, but it is nice to know one is there.

I don't think it's a good idea to close this thread just yet, though, because this chart just narrows down your "range" when you're shooting for a character.  You could still get any of the characters in any of the boxes from the character on the edge of the box.  If we keep going, we can try to figure out HOW you get the characters in the box.

If you take too long to get the baby's needs filled right after you start caring for it, then it affects the toddler you get; If I fail the Get notes game the first time, I always get Kuchitamatchi, but if I get happy to 3 with snack first or if I win, I never get Kuchitamatchi. Maybe you just took too long to fill it's needs in the begginning?

Also, I've gotten all 4 toddlers from High-dicipline dicipline parents;my Tamagotchi's always get full training meters, but I've gotten all 4 of the toddlers without giving big neglect. I got Tamatchi one time because hunger dropped to 2 once. Now I know what to do if I want Tamatchi  Smiley And for Mohitamatchi it jsut seems to need perfect care, and Kutchitamatchi is neglect... maybe I can get Mizumatchi by letting happy drop to 2 once!

Oh, really?  That's interesting.  So what is the order of the toddlers from best to worst, then?  Does generation affect it?

EDIT:  Thank you Bojko for the chart!

You can get any toddler in any generation, generation dones't affect it. As for best to worst... Mohitamatchi is best, but the order of the other 3 is hazy.

I've gotten Tamatchi from never filling any happy hearts except one heart once(First time I ever cared for a Tamagotchi,  couldn't play Get Notes well), but also from perfect care except missing 2 hunger hearts once.

Kuchitamatchi has come from filling happy hearts too late in the very beggining and then perfect care, or from large neglect.

Mizumatchi I think I've gotten twice before because I missed 2 happy hearts once, but I'll have to check on that, and I've heard of someone getting it form horrible care.

Ever noticed that all the toddlers names end with matchi? Expecially odd considering two of them are teens in the Original P1 and the other 2 are Mesu/Osu toddlers. How interesting  Smiley
