Hello.

My name, obviously, is Alexa.

I've been into tamas since the old P1 days. I have a P1, P2, Angel, American Ocean, two V1s, one Connexion V2, two V3s, and a V4. It's not a huge collection, but I tend to use mainly one Tama per version, so I usually only bought one. I'm a tad OCD like that.

Alright, I have to rant. I have this....quest. My friend Ellen has the orange and green OsuMesu pair, an Umi No, and three rare colors of P2s, the panda, dragon, and Thai editions. She uses them as wall decor. I've been asking her for them for years, and apparently they look too lovely on her wall for her to hand them over. I was the one who told her to buy them in the first place, and I'm about to the point of breaking into her house.

It's quite maddening, to say the least.

But, back onto a happier subject, my tamas! Here's what I have going currently:

Blue P2

Mimitchi, 13 yrs.

Blue bubbles Ocean

Kuragetchi, 2 yrs.

Purple Connexion 2
with
Kairi the Kusatchi, 6 yrs., with her baby.

Clear black V3
with
Chii the Teketchi, 7 yrs., with her baby.

Story time.

Yesterday I went to a local Toys R Us, Target, and KB Toys in search of a V4. I found nothing. They didn't even have V3s in stock.

Today I woke up and thought I would just wait. Oh crap, gotta put Chii to bed. Okay. Anyway, I thought I'd wait for them to come into stock, since I didn't think I would find any.

Then, before leaving to cash a fat check I got for babysitting(New Year's eve, 250 bucks. I love babysitting for rich people, they left their kid in a condo while they went to have dinner at their country club, and we played FFXII the entire time, and I got paid. It was great  ), I decided I'd look up other Toys R Usses on the internet. I found one in a smaller town close to mine, so after cashing the check, I hopped on the freeway and drove down there.

After putt-putting through construction, I realized it had been closed. However, a Walmart lay across the street.

I naturally went inside, straight to the toy section, and voila, the V4s were there! I grabbed a glow in the dark one and sped home to open it.

I pulled the tab, set the time to 3:00 pm, and waited, and was greeted by a...I don't know. She was a little white teardrop, I named her Ashe, after a character from FFXII.

For most of Ashe's baby stage, I was busy shellpainting. I painted a bunch of dots and circles on my purple Connexion 2, and I painted rabbits on my P2. They're modeled after the decemberunderground rabbits from AFI's album. I don't like the rabbits much, so I might wash the paint off and do something else later. However, my Connexion 2 turned out great, and all I need to do now is gloss it. I'll post photos in my next log.

I haven't read a thing about EnTamas or V4s, so everything is new to me, and I like it like that. The first game available was a jump roping game, which was a little irritating. I only got up to about 12 or so. I miss the old button mashers, like the Umi game or the P1 and P2 games, where you don't have to pay attention, haha. Oh well, little Ashe was still adorable, and after much jump-roping, happy.

About an hour later, around 4:10 PM, I heard the familiar changing sound, and little Ashe turned into a Mohitamatchi. I looked to see what the next game would be, and it was a mimicking game. It was sort of like Bump, with random characters, but you just selected the face to match the other character's face. It was like Bump and Slots combined!

(I also began to notice that little Ashe had a weight problem! If I fed her, she would gain a pound and it would stick, and she wouldn't lose any weight at all, no matter how many times I played the game! If any of you have answers, please help... Huh)

Anyway, today at about 5:00 PM I picked up my friend Celeste for dinner. I brought all my tamas, but paused my needy little Kuragetchi. While we were eating and I was showing her little Ashe, the mail icon started blinking. I scrolled over to it and clicked, and saw a box with an exclamation point blinking. I clicked it, and a lady came down and gave little Ashe a backpack, and I realized she was going to kindergarten! She went away, and I pressed B, and saw her playing. It was cute.

Also, a little later during dinner, the mail icon started going off again. I opened it and saw the letter icon inside blinking this time. I opened that, and a little mail-gotchi stood at the bottom of the screen while a snake poofed out! Ashe threw a little fit. It was really cute. I don't know why I got a snake, though, haha.

Well, this is getting a little long. I'll close off with the final member of my tama family.

Ashe the Mohitamatchi, 0 yrs.

Wow, great log! Thanks for including the pictures! I've been thinking about doing that for my log, but it seemed too time-consuming for me. I really appreciate the effort you put into this long and very interesting log! I look forward to reading more.

Hey guys, I'm glad you enjoyed the first entry.

I'm back. It's been a whole day. Here are my little tamas at the beginning of the day:

Blue P2

Mimitchi, 14 yrs.

Blue bubbles Ocean

Sass the Kuragetchi, 3 yrs.

Purple Connexion 2
with
Kairi the Kusatchi, 7 yrs., with her baby.

Clear black V3
with
Chii the Teketchi, 8 yrs., with her baby.

GID V4

Ashe the Mohitamatchi, 0 yrs.

I woke up at an ungodly hour this morning to find out I didn't have my first class, so I went to Starbucks. I decided to leave Chii, Kairi, and Mimitchi at home on pause, because today I wanted to care for little Ashe and my ocean. I decided to name my ocean Sass. I actually have a good friend named Sass, who's dating my brother Thor. I love my weirdly-named family and friends, haha.

I played with Ashe a lot during English and finally got her weight down. I then remembered I should probably check on Sass, and when I picked her up, there was the polar bear! I chased it off.

I checked Ashe at 9:40 AM and I saw the mail icon blinking! I opened it up and I got a letter, and this blobby thing with a crown(the Gotchi King probably) dropped down and gave me 400 points! I was happy to say the least. Then, at 10:30, I saw it blinking again, and I opened up another letter to find a heart!

I kept getting mail throughout the day, I forgot what times, but I remember several times checking and clicking the blinking star icon instead of the mail icon, and there were three bubbles: one with a money bag, one with a heart, and one with a macho looking guy. I had three stars by the money bag, two stars by the heart, and one star by the macho man, to which my mail gotchi frowned, hehe. (Can anyone tell me what these mean?)

I checked on Sass many times during the day, and it seemed that whenever I got an intuitive pang saying "Hmm, I should check on my ocean!" and I checked, there was the polar bear! I swear! It must have happened five times, and every time I barely saved her. It was insane. What luck! I guess God was watching out for Sass today. I did get some beeps for empty hearts when I lost track of time though. Oh well, at least she wasn't attacked Cheesy

Finally, after a long but nice first day back, I got home and unpaused the rest of the gang. It wasn't five minutes before I heard Sass changing! She turned into an Otototchi! I'm so happy. She wasn't half as demanding for the rest of the night, tee hee!

Then, five seconds later, I heard the changing sound from little Ashe! She turned into....A young Dorotchi! She's so adorable! A little while after she changed, Nazotchi delivered some mail(I finally got to see the mail actually being delivered, haha) and it was an exclamation box. I clicked, and Ashe went to tama kindergarten and got a gradation cap.

I guess she's in...middle school or high school now, hehe. I got a new teacher, and he looks like a little old man. I played this game where he hid a pencil and you had to guess which box it was in, and it took me a few tries to realize that they switched the boxes. After that, I checked her health, and her intelligence had grown a lot.

She got three new games, Shapes, Dance, and Flag, and I still like Mimic the best, with Dance coming in a close second. I won't go into detail on the games, since many of you have V4s and know what I'm talking about, and I wouldn't want to ruin the fun for those who don't have them yet! *cough*Kat*cough*

I finished shellpainting on my V4, and now, instead of the tama logo, it has a cartoon of Mimitchi up top. I glossed it and the other shells I painted, and they turned out cute. I'll put up pictures later.

Oh...and I talked to my friend Ellen about giving me the OsuMesu pair, Umi No, and P2s, and "No" has finally been upgraded to "I'll think on it." Keep in mind, this is HUGE progress after three years of begging! I'm pumped! I'll just strategically enhance my begging now...haha.

So here are the two tamas with updates:

Blue bubbles Ocean

Sass the Otototchi, 3 yrs.

Your logs are fantasic!

The weight seems to reduce only if you get so many successes with the game or might have to beat the entire game. I don't know the scoring system on the connections by memory though. I'd imagine 15+ successes is needed at least. I'm not perfectly sure about it though.

Good luck with Ellen, those poor little guys need some attention!

Indeed I do have a V4 and so does Brendan. Brendan actually has two.. the blue one and the glow-in-the-dark one Cheesy (me wants a blue one too).

Looking forward to more of your logs, they are a great read

Many compliments on your choice of names for your Teketchi!  I am super pleased to discover a fellow Chobits fan (I'm guessing?).  In case you didn't notice, Chi is my username.  Heh heh.

Nice logs.  I wish I could add that much detail  to my logs, but I don't keep that many tabs on my own life, LOL.  Plus, I only have one Tama to begin with, though I might get another sometime.

In the manual leaflet it gives a little description to what they mean: it says about the money bag that if you get three stars it means you might get a special letter from the Gotchi-King, three love and your friendship level with another Tama might increase with your next connection and three health stars (the macho man) means you'll be less likely to get sick.

I would love to see pictures of your shell-painting, it sounds very neat.
