[Macy Gray - Love Is Gonna Get You]

This was heard as intro/outro theme of some sitcom couple of years ago where young single lady, who desperately tried to get boyfriend, ended up helping her friends getting boyfriends/girlfriends. I'm remembering something like she herself getting bf and wedding in the last episodes.

I've been listening to Mad World from the Donnie Darko soundtrack a lot lately. There's a commercial here with that song in the background and it inspired me to download 4 different versions on my MP3 player Cheesy

Yeah, the one by Gary Jules.
I heard it on the Gears Of War commercial and downloaded it, I've been listening to it alot since, It's a great song. I don't have any more by him though.

The one I have is by Michael Andrews. I also have the original by Tears for Fears and then another one whose name is escaping me hehe Smiley

I love that song, esp the Andrews piano version. Donnie Darko is also a very interesting and thought provoking movie. Smiley

Oh, I love Donnie Darko!

The first time I saw it was in July on my birthday, it was about 2am, we had just gone for a walk in the dead of Winter, we were cold and extremely tired. But we watched it and it was fantastic. It was the perfect end to a birthday. Not to mention made me dream some awfully whack dreams.

I must watch it again in a more attentive and comprehending state, I feel there is a lot I missed in that movie.

Threadjack: if you can, get the director's edition of the Donnie Darko dvd, there's lots of extras that go into the philosophy of the movie moreso than the actual movie gets to Smiley

The first time I watched it I wasn't that thrilled with it. But the more I watched it the more I saw the deep story there and it truly is very original and enjoyable writing. It's definitely worth taking another look at if you get a chance Smiley

Sorta on topic.. the Michael Andrews version of Mad World is definitely worth a listen Smiley

I'm listening to "My Heart" by my friend Thom's band, Flattstreet. You can hear two of their albums on their website: http://www.flattstreet.ca They're jazz/funk, really really really good, although they're not really active right now because the singer (Sarah) moved to NYC to model full-time, and Thom is involved in about a trillion other bands/projects. I'm his number one fan! I love him!
