For some  reason everytime I play my Morino, I get the worst character (the one that eats poop).  I take good care of him, I still get it.  Imotchi only gets attacked once, I get the poop character.  It doesn't matter how good I take care of imotchi, I just DON'T get ANY other character.  So what is up with that?  Has anyone else had any different problems?

actually, what you need to get a good character is...
raise the weight, there are certain weights for certain creature
like for example to get a Koganetchi you have to raise the weight til 40
if you want a mushibatchi you have to raise the weight til 60
how much is the weight of your mori when it turns into a cacoon?

You know I had the same problem and I read the end parts of Kat's morino log and she got the same results with your advice. I'm definitely going to have to try that sometime Grin Do you know the exact weights to go for to get other characters?

if you want a Funkorogatchi (which im sure nobody wants it)
you must make the weight as low as possible! or as high as possible
but there is a big chance you will get a Mushibatchi with the weight 60++
You have to get 40 to get a Tentotchi too, but dont forget to lower the temparature or you will get a Koganetchi
I dunno how to get a Futagoaoritchi, but there's some people emailing me from my website, claiming that they have a secret characeter, I kept asking him/her how she/he got it, but they never replied...

Morino Tamagotch is a Japanese Tama that came out in the late 90's. The characters are bugs and worms... that sort. You feed leaves and more bug like things instead of the usual Tamagotchi type food. During the growth stage they go into a cocoon for 24 hours and you must regulate the temperature.

It has been found that instead of keep the weight super low it's best to keep the weight as high as possible. The lower the weight the more unhealthy character you get (I used to get many Funkoroga's before).  I am sure this has some basis to reality as bugs are very delicate creatures.

And yes the most unhealthy character eats Poo.

I have a small section about my experience on the site. They are really cool, one of my faves really. They are only buyable on ebay these days - bandai no longer makes them.

At one point Bandai did plan to release them - as Garden Tamagotchi - in the US, but due to poor sales on Tamagotchi Angel the project was scrapped.

And the only reason Tama Angel failed was because only Target was the major seller of them, by then the vpet craze had died down a lot and the new releases were being overlooked by customers - assuming they were all the same as previous versions - because bandai spent too much time releasing new waves of colors of the same Tama's instead of releasing new types of Tamagotchi... and when they finally did it was too late, only the collectors remained and the stores weren't putting in orders.

But popularity in Japan was steady.. there was some slow release periods... but everything picked up with the release of Connection... and here we are...

Too much info, sorry. ^.^

I think, it's really good info especially since I'm still learning. I had NO idea how much there is to know.

In fact, now that you've explained it I might like an insect tama thingie.  Smiley
