put the handheld in the dock station, but what a disappointment! The graphic is much better in the Handheld! And the game too! You could dress the dog only in the Shop I like my pod more than the dock station thing... and the dog is more natural in the small screen than on your tv...

Could someone be so kind as to tell me how to pause/turn off the Vmigo? How do you turn off the sound? Thank you!

Thanks Jiro! On 'turned off' mode (where the screen is blank) stats appear unchanged (other than age, which goes by the clock), for better or for worse. This is, I'd imagine, in the case that somebody were to forget their puppy on a trip or while they were at school or work, etc.

My one concern with this virtual puppy is batteries. I had a set of three brand new ones in and they lasted for about two or three days (this IS with the back light off). I don't necessarily want to spend that much money on batteries (I wish they only took one or two batteries). The instructions clearly state NOT to put in rechargable batteries, but I'm curious. Has anyone tried these? Does anyone know why they might not work in the vMigo console? If you did and they didn't hurt the console or your puppy in any way, shape or form, how long did they last with the backlights off, fully charged? Also, if you have one and you have tried at least two different brands with the back light off, can someone please tell me the brand and approximate run time in days that they lasted (unless you just leave yours on turned off mode all day). Also, other than the back light, what can I do to conserve battery power so that they last more than a couple days? Any info along these lines is appreciated!
