Maybe the company that created VMigo has made contract with Duracell or Energizer that they put "do not use rechargeable batteries" in the instructions. So ppl will buy tons of AAA alkaline batteries instead Tongue

I've never heard any case that rechargeable batteries have damaged device which runs with alkaline/nickloid AA or AAA batteries.

Yeah Furby had Duracell as it's sponser... they do that, put it all over their stuff and insist that's the best battery. Smiley I'm sure any battery would be okay as long as you don't mix types ^.^

One thing is odd with Vmigo battery use. Why 3 batteries, why not 2 (or 4)?

AA/AAA batteries are usually sold in packages with even number of batteries, like 2, 4 or 8 batteries. If your Vmigo has 3 batteries and you buy 4-pack of AAAs, you have 1 leftover AAA and then when you buy next pack of 4 batteries you have 2 leftovers and that way.

All the devices that I know which use AA/AAA batteries have 2 or 4 batteries (excluding necklace style mp3 players or some small 1-battery remote controllers). My digicam has 4 AA, my PMR walkietalkie has 4 AAA batteries, my wall clock has 2 AA.

3 AAAs sound bit unlogical for battery running device.

Well, I guess that really proves that they have a deal with the battery company..Think about it, if you have ONE left, you'll buy another pack..and like you said, then you'll have two left, so you'll need another so you'll buy another pack..and then so on and so forth.

It's a CONSPIRACY!
