Congrats on getting your V5s! I can't wait to customize mine and hatch it, looking at yours gives me the urge to start it up... That v1 is a beautiful design, and the Giga Pets look cute, however I've never played with one. Glad you're enjoying yours! Oooh cute purse too... what can I say? You're pretty lucky.

cute v5 anna! i hatched mine too! i have the blu UK design (with kutchipatchi keychain)
i'm happy with the V5, the only disappointment is the animations when you use items. But there are many new features in it, and the chance to raise 1-3 characters it's very cool!

@TL: yep, I thought of you when I grabbed it. The blue abstract one is more appealing in person than it is in pictures.

@MistyKetchum: Thank you ^_^.  If you want a Giga Pet, make sure you keep a large slot of time open cos it demands attention at an alarming rate, at least for me.

I started up the Brilliant ruby V5, mostly out of habit since when I have a new tamagotchi, I usually try to get a second and start them together. Thus, i introduce to you the MAC family, short for Macnamara. I have already worked their bonding percentage up to 100%, due to boring classes and almost nothing to do all day. Lies of course, I was just not doing anything that I should have been doing and forfeiting much of my time to changing the time on my V5s around so I could raise their bonding.



After the hour of babitchi, I now have a Mousetchi, Tororotchi, and an Ahirukutchi. And the eldest is...?



My Troy family connected with their Macnamara friends for a few times, and I ended up with something that looked like a ticket or a brochure. I decided to wait until I got home to a good camera before I did anything with it so that I could take pictures. And so it looks like I'm doing the same as -Ra- and showing you guys their vacation, but here it is! Honestly I was hoping for something a little more, because the travel show could take me to the same place for free.


And now the Troy family has friends! I can now look into their friends page and see the Macnamara family. As usual with the V5/Famitama, you only get to see the eldest sibling.


Goodness, it's late, and I'm tired. Time to get to bed as I've got a 9⁵⁰AM class! Luckily it's Calculus and I like to play with numbers =)

Well, again it's been a while since I've posted, and yes I believe that a few days is a while, since so much happens =p. A few minutes ago I made myself happy by purchasing a Bluetooth headset on ebay, as well as some screen protectors. They are originally ipod screen film protectors, but I'll be cutting them to fit my tamagotchi and protect their pretty little screens from scratchies. In tamagotchi news, I've ordered a Chibi tamagotchi, all thanks to Real_Three. Thank goodness my college provides us with a mailbox whether we live on campus or not, so now I'll just have tamagotchis sent there ^_^. My mother is very serious about threatening to throw them out if she sees another new one...

I finally have adults on my V5s! However, now it's time to tell you HOW I got them before I tell you WHO I got =)

The Troy family teenagers were as follows with the oldest being who? Mamekatchi!


When they became adults, I was very happy to see that I could obtain a pure Mame family, which would be my first one!


I have never had such a combination before, so I'm very pleased. Usually I get a Lavuzukitchi in there all the time, with her girlfriend Potetchi. Best friends really do stick together! I'm getting really attached to my ruby V5, because these colors work so nicely together. I'm lucky that I'm a girl and can get away with this =p The Mac family became the same three teenagers as did the Troy family, with Mamekatchi as the eldest again.


No family photos currently, but I can tell you that the Mac family turned into adults as well, in the order of Mametchi, Chantotchi, and then Kuchipatchi to trail them. Kuchi will be the one to get married off of this generation, and I can finally have some Chibipatchi twins!

Tashi became a Masktchi, foo on me for not taking better care of her, and Lola II had a baby girl with a very charming Ura Togetchi. I will probably name her Thyst, for Amethyst. I think I'll be getting into some rock and mineral names for this lot.


Cheers to getting two pure families in one generation!!! Might I also add that the Tamadoptables have been drawn up for this month, and will be hatching in two days! Who's excited? I am, cos I know what they are! [taunt]

I also took a quiz last night for the first time in a while. I'm pleasantly surprised with my results...

wow, i love so much your abstract V5 and your transparent purple V4.5! they're cute without their logos... did you use a solvent to peel of the logo's paint?

I wouldn't recommend using acetone or any nail polish remover to remove the paint. Instead, I got a variety-sided buffer and buffed off the paint with the second-to-smoothest side, and then polished it up with the softest smoothest side.
So many things from yesterday!

I had been trying to get Osumotchi, so I finally got them on the Mac family! I think the funniest part was seeing their little standby animation on what looked like a scale...


Am I the only person slightly unnerved by these animations where the others are watching the third sibling go potty? I don't remember ever enjoying being watched... but maybe this could work like potty training or something. I'm all for moral support =p


The Troy family was finally old enough to get married, so I sent their eldest, the Mametchi, to the dating show. It took FOREVER to find the perfect girl for him! At least I'm comforted knowing that he isn't settling for anything less that what he wants... hehe


Some of those girls were coming twice, whether it be twice in a row or waiting a little bit before they tried again... but Mame wasn't having any of it. He know what he was looking for, and intended on getting that perfect girl for him. His patience paid off and a beautiful Chantotchi approached my boy. However... it didn't turn out as we planned....


After thinking for a while, I was almost positive that I had done everything right, including the bonding that was supposed to be 100%, when i remembered that earlier that morning I had missed a call which dropped my bonding to 90%, thus not allowing me to get the full Mame family. What a bummer! They turned into the parents Papamametchi and Mamametchi, but they had three eggs which became two Mimifuwatchi and one Futabatchi. That's fine though, we can always try again in roughly a week. The babies turned into Sakuramotchi, Mousetchi, and Tororotchi...

I started up and downloaded my Aki family back onto the pink Famitama, and now that makes it 5 tamagotchi. I apparently had the Ninja family on there! I think Kunoitchi and her brother are just adorable, and their parents make it all the better. Now I'm thinking that I'll send over someone from the Mac family (Mametchi or Chantotchi) and have a Space family on the Japanese Famitama.

In other news, Lola II left her baby girl who I named Thyst, and she is now a Kuchitamatchi. Tashi is still a Masktchi, and we are waiting for the matchmaker. I think I may take her batteries out for now though... one generation was enough for me with the V1.

February 15
It seems like everyone was kissing all day yesterday! Multiple times I looked over and saw the parents kissing eachother on my V5s and Famitamas.


I got flowers and candy from some of my students, as well as a KISS ME HUG ME necklace from my little 6 year old private lesson :heart:


My boyfriend tried to get me a Yasashii that was in Jason's store, but he's completely computer illiterate and so someone else had gotten it before I could get to it. He felt terrible and spent the rest of the night trying to figure out what one looks like and researching it using google (the only thing he can actually figure out XD)

I'm sorry to bring news of Tashi's passing on the other day. Natalia is still around, helping to take care of the swarms of kids around her (poor thing) while I'm at work and doing schoolwork and such.

Current V5/Famitama Statistics (V5s have American names, while Famitamas have Japanese ones)
Chiyo Family: Mausutchi (M) + Sakuramotchi (F). Parents are Okugatatchi and Papamametchi
Aki Family: Tororotchi (F) + Mattaritchi (M) + Sakuramotchi (F). Parents are Okugatatchi and Papapatchi
Troy Family: Chamametchi (F) + Mamekatchi (M) + Ichigotchi (F). Parents are Mamametchi and Papamametchi
Mac Family: Kuchipatchi (M) + Chibipatchi. Parents are Papapatchi and Mamapatchi

I caught my Kuchipa family taking a bath together.. only the three brothers were in the bathtub, however. I haven't been able to catch any of the Kuchipa family idle animations yet, but I hope to!


My Aki Ninja family has finally come and gone. My Kunoitchi married a Kuchipatchi and they grew up to become Okugatatchi and Papapatchi. I saw them kissing too =p. Through their three eggs' babitchi stage I worked hard to get the bonding up to 20% so I could get Futabatchi for the closeup chart. Now they are Tororotchi (F), Mattaritchi (M), and the youngest daughter Sakuramotchi (F). Are we heading for another pure family?




I gave in and downloaded my Chiyo family on my Orange Famitama, so now I've got my two toddlers Mausutchi (M) and Sakuramotchi (F). For their lack of recent activity, their parents Okugatatchi and Papamametchi were very caught up in the Valentine's day fever... <3


The Troy family have now become teenagers, with the eldest daughter becoming a Chamametchi. My predictions on their growth is
Chamametchi --> Chantotchi
Mamekatchi --> Mametchi
Ichigotchi --> No prediction XD. Not enough evidence

February 16th

Just to update (very quickly), my two Chiyo family toddlers have turned into Chamametchi and Mamekatchi!

I'll have my families on pause most of today as it is my longest work day of the week. Maybe I'll just have them sleep instead.

How funny that now when I finally really look at this picture, I realize that they are vacuuming and not just passing around a lantern-type shiny object XD. Me and my imagination...


So, first thing's first. I gave into temptation again today... After work, I went to the tanning salon and got my stuff done, and while I had the car I decided to call up TRU. They had the V5s! I asked to have one put on hold, and drove over there. Once I got there, I went over to the shelves where they usually have them, and saw nothing. I hopped over to the customer service area and asked if they had any left, and the woman and I talked about some crazy mothers that were there earlier yelling at them to open up the store faster so they could get their kids the V5. Wow, how not nice D= The lady had actually saved me the last one in the store, thank goodness! It was a scrumptious little Cookie Dough V5. Of course I had to get it, along with a couple of those yummy Cadbury Creme eggs to keep me from eating my tamagotchi. I had them open up the plastic for me at the store, and just threw the garbage out at home, after taking my cookie out of course ^_^. And thus, after setting the time, date and my birthady, the Hope family was born, named after the english translation of my best friend's name, Nadejda (Nadia).


A little background: "Nadejda" means hope, and is one of the trio of Russian names that mean something really special like that. "Nadejda" for Hope, "Vera" for trust, and "Lubov (Luba)" for love. I'm the only one that still calls her by her real name, and not the Americanized name Nadia.
I got one of each babitchi: Mimifuwatchi, Omututchi, and Futabatchi, and for their hour they were just as any other characters... pestering poor Natalia.




After their hour of being babitchi, they grew up into the toddlers Mousetchi, Belltchi, and Mattaritchi (who always seems to be my youngest =p). This brings me to a total of five V5/Famitamas running!


The status on some of the other families has changed, where they've grown into their teenager forms. The Mac family is on generation 2, as their father Kuchipatchi married a Violetchi and they made sweet music together.
Family Aki: Chamametchi (F), Mamekatchi (M), and Shelutchi (F)


Family Chiyo: Mamekatchi (M) and Chamametchi (F)

Poor Natalia is having quite the time with some of them. She may just want to leave me!


I've got my bluetooth and the polka-dot cell phone cover in the mail. Now I am awaiting some screen covers that I'll use for my tamgotchi, a Chibi tamagotchi (black and pink) and a Tamasuku (pink with a semi-plaid design). I found a way to get tamagotchi past my mother, and that is to have them sent to my College mailing address, where I can just check it while in school and be completely discreet! Sneaky sneaky!
