Maybe your tamagotchi Ocean was so old it was messed up and sorta not working correctly. I think is Smiley That tends to happen when you have are very old games  Wink Also the old tamagotchi games probably had a lot of errors.

The original tamagotchi were very high quality made virtual pets. As someone who has played with them for many years - they definitely were not full of errors. While this might be true for other "games", Tamagotchi was always ahead of the pack and rarely ever did I hear about any serious *reoccurring* issues. Problems happened, but it was many times a one time thing and never happened again after a full reset.

"Old" does not necessarily mean obsolete and full of errors.

I'd say most of us here probably do not consider tamagotchi to be a "game"

*snaps* for Kat!

However, Malikai II has had another mishap. I only remember letting him drop down to 3 hearts empty on each one time total... and I was getting excited when he got sick, thinking he would be changing soon. Unfortunately, he started making noises soon after that definitely did not sound like the changing noises. It was just a recurring beep beep beep while he was looking sad.. and then he passed away  Embarrassed Sad Embarrassed

I'm starting to see why people say that the ocean is the hardest of them all. Maybe the octopus was clouding up my screen too much? Although I can hardly see why that one factor would be my fault, since it must be random.

I did start a new experiment, and instead of playing games with my newest ocean reincarnation Acrylle, I'll be feeding her snacks. She'll be rather overweight, but it's worth a try! I'm feeling a bit guilty though, advocating tama obesity....

RIP Malikai II. You will be very missed.

....I do wish we could get an angel without a smile for our smilies.... just for moments like these.

I think feeding snacks will help, I did that with my last one just because the ocean kept dying so much that it annoyed me... and it made it to adulthood with the most minimal care imaginable

I'm gonna have to try that whenever I start one of my oceans up. Good advice!

My stupid ocean's batteries died.  That's the third time in the last 2 weeks that I've gotten to like 4 years old, and the batteries died.  And it's really dumb because it tells you the batteries are low, yet it doesn't save your data..so what's the point? GAH!  I should just get brand new batteries instead of using random batteries I found around the house..heh.
