As (I would hope) you all remember, I was gone at a figure skating competition this weekend.  I'm happy to say that I brought home one bronze, two silver and one gold medals.  In addition, our team on a whole did very well overall.  I had a lot of fun (although it resulted in some very early mornings).  I got to eat hot muffins for breakfast, skated all day long on high quality ice and spent my spare time haunting bookstores.   It was a great weekend!   Grin  However, during all this madness I had to leave my Tamababies at home, since I knew I wouldn't have the time to raise them.  So on Monday morning I unpaused my two new baby girls.

I began to raise Ivy (the V3) first.  By the way, I'm happy to note that this is V3's 25th Generation!  Wow!  I can't imagine that I've come this far without ever suffering any losses.  She was a very good child, although she accidently napped with poop.  After a short time lapse I unpaused my V2, whom I named Acorn.  She was able to escape the plight of her sister, and had a rather peaceful babyhood.  Ivy became a Kuchitamatchi and, shortly afterwards, Acorn turned into a....wait, I bet you know this.....Kinokomotchi.  So that's where I am right now!  My little tots are bouncing around in their screens next to me as I type.  They should become teens tomorrow morning and I'll hopefully get the chance to update everyone on it!   Smiley

Bleh...I have the flu today.  I woke up at three in the morning feeling as though my fever had just broken.  I was chilled to the bone and I couldn't stop shaking.  After that I had a rather sleepless night full of weird dreams.  I've pretty much spent the day lazing around the house, doing absolutely nothing productive, taking a brief excursion to the doctor and...taking care of my Tamagotchis.

Both Ivy and Acorn became teens the moment they awoke.  Oddly enough, the pair both evolved into Young Mametchis as well!  They just fell asleep a couple of minutes ago, so now the only thing on their screens are a little pair of "Z"s.  Somehow, seeing their smiling faces has brightened my day!

I've heard we might have severe weather blowing in again tomorrow, so (for all I know) I might be back in a couple days with another of these tornado-warning horror stories to tell.  Until then!   Grin

As I expected, Ivy and Acorn became adults today.  Ivy changed first into a Memetchi; Acorn immediately followed, to become a Pyonchitchi.  The pair are extremely cute.  However, after these past couple "interim" generations I've decided on a method of care to try next----perfect, except that I never play games.  I will fill happy hearts by feeding snacks instead.  This should get interesting!  I'll post again once the Matchmaker's arrived.   Grin

It's been awhile, hasn't it?  ...You'd think I'd have tons to tell you about, but I actually have no news at all!  My Tamas have been sitting on pause back on my dresser....because I managed to catch the STOMACH FLU.     I know, I know--I'd just gotten over the last flu I had, right?  But I suppose that my immune system hadn't quite gotten back up to par, so I was prone to getting sick again.  Yuck, though, it's been gross!

I'll appreciate all of your thoughts as I work to recover from this bug once and for all.  I'm still too tired and whatnot to bring out my virtual pets, but I intend to start running them again once I'm well.  Talk to you then!   Grin

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so ill Chi! Seems there's something going around. I'm sure your Tama buddies understand.

I hope you feel better very soon.

Many thanks for your comment, Mimitchi.  It's nice to know that you're reading my logs!   Grin

Well, I'm feeling much better than I was when I lasted posted.  My appetite's swelling back to normal, I've gained back some of the weight I'd lost while ill (which is good, because I was looking rather like a rail for a bit there), and I've finally had the energy to unpause my Tamas again!  Ivy and Acorn looked very happy to see me, and they must have been, because not long before I turned them on the Matchmaker arrived for them!  Happily enough, the pair made fierworks with a couple of well-off Tamas, and they both had little daughters!  I'm excited to be back in the swing of things, and am definitely looking forward to getting on to a new generation.  See you later!

Sorry you've been sick! I had a problem sort of like that; three or four weeks ago I got a very bad cold. The same time the next week I had a really high fever. I'm sure stomach flu is probably worse, though... glad to hear you're feeling better.  Grin

Heeheehee... Ivy and Acorn are cute Tama names.

Thanks for the comment, MistyKetchum.   Grin

This morning when I woke up Ivy and Acorn had departed for Tama Planet, leaving behind their two baby girls for me to raise.  I had been at a bit of a loss for names as of late, and had asked two of my friends to supply them for me.  ...This time, my names are a little bit out of the ordinary.   Smiley  So, anyway, I immediately started raising Sally and Haifa.  The new rule for care this time was to mainly feed snacks rather than to play games.  Eventually, Sally became a Tamatchi, and Haifa soon followed to become a Kinokomotchi (surprise, surprise).  That's all for now!

Well, this morning the minute my Tamas woke up they turned into teens!  Sally went first, and it didn't surprising me so much when she became the semi-unhealthy Hashitamatchi.  But Haifa changed next, and she became an Ichigotchi, of all things!  Personally, I was thinking  Shocked "How'd that happen?"  Isn't Ichigotchi one of the healthiest in the bunch....?

Whatever the cause, I'm really glad to have this little strawberry to keep me company.  I haven't had Ichigotchi since I raised my very first Tamagotchi, waaaay back before I even started these logs.  I think she's absolutely adorable!   Grin

Something weird is up with my Tamas' times....Sally is four, but Haifa's only three.  ....Well, I suppose that it must not matter, because just a couple of minutes ago they both became adults!!   Grin  I had been extremely excited for their transformations to take place, since it would mean the conclusion of my first run-through of my new experiment.  However, I wasn't sure if it would happen today, since Haifa's so behind.   Tongue  Ah well, I guess Fate was with me!!

Sally changed first, which is what I would have expected, Haifa being the one I was worried about.  I watched excitedly as her screen flashed, to reveal a creature I have never seen for myself before:  A Bunbuntchi!  "Oh, my gosh!"  I screamed.  "It's so cute!!"

At this point I turned my attention to Haifa, hoping she would change as well.  A couple of minutes later I was rewarded with her own special tune.  Now, I will say that her weight is only 47 lbs versus Sally's 63, but....well, somehow she became a Marumimitchi.  However, until I am able to experiment further, I won't know whether or not we can chalk it up to luck.  Even so, though, this has been a very interesting few days!  I had a lot of fun trying this out, and in the end I was rewarded with Mickey Mouse and one of the most adorable characters EVER!
