It has been an extreeeemely long time since I've logged in, but don't worry, I haven't vanished!  My life has been absolutely swamped, with days full of what feels like unproductivity and afternoons and evenings full of everything but relaxation.     Ugh!  But, thankfully, I'm pretty sure it's all over now, so hopefully I can get back to doing what I love: chatting with you guys and taking care of my Tamas!

Now, Sally and Haifa actually got a visit from the Matchmaker a couple of days ago, but I didn't have the time to tell you.  They've been on pause for so long that it took them two weeks to age two years!  Thankfully, though, the Matchmaker DID arrive on....Wednesday, I think, and she graced the two with a boy and a girl!  I was delighted!  Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to mess with the quartet much since then.  Mostly, the year between the visit and their departure has been obtained during sleep-time, with them being on pause during the day.  Today the babies are on their adoption screen, but I have a couple of errands to run, so I might not get to raising them until tomorrow.  But fear not: they WILL grow up!  And I WILL be back to tell you all about it!

Welcome back Chi! Cheesy I hear that you got my two names. I'm glad you like them! Hope that all that business is over so you can get back to your Tamas and chat on the boards again!

Thanks very much, Ginjirotchi!  (Is Dennis okay?  I wasn't sure.)  I am seriously hoping that it's all over, too.   Smiley

Well, I have great news!  Around midmorning, I decided that I had enough time to raise my two new babies!  Thanks to my new no-games regime, I went ahead and raised both Chazz (the V3) and Nora (his V2 companion) at the same time!  I couldn't remember whether to discipline or not, so I just went ahead and did it.    Tongue  Anyways, everything went smashing, and an hour later the pair transformed into a Tamatchi and a Kuribotchi, respectively.  (Yay!  Something that is not a Kinokomotchi!)  They're both rolling around on their heads as I type.  And so begins my next round of experimentation!  I'll let you know when they change into teens...if my schedule permits, anyway!

Dennis is fine Smiley I prefer that actually, hehe! Yeah, I had a busy two weeks myself with school. It's over for me to now, I hope!

Glad to hear Chazz and Nora are doing well! Can't wait to see who they become as adults!

Yesterday something great happened!--Chazz and Nora hit their teenage years!  ...I don't remember who went first, because I was in the middle of something at the time, but Chazz is now a Nikatchi and Nora became a Young Mametchi.  (The latter of the two is not something which I expected--seeing as how Young Mametchi is usually considered a healthy teen--but that's why it's experimentation, right?)

I think I'm getting pretty attached to this pair, possibly because I actually have bonding time with them versus sleep time.  They're both really adorable, though, and I love them!   Grin

Wow, everybody, I have quite the story for you.  I know, I know...it's been a really looooong time since I was last on, and I'm sorry for that.  I didn't mean to, I swear!  But this time, I actually do have an excuse--shocking, I know.  See, I'm getting better, but the other day I got very, very sick.

To put it briefly, last Wednesday all of the sudden I felt really lightheaded and dizzy.  I seriously thought I was going to pass out.  I called over one of my friends, who was nearby, and told her what was up.  She ran and got some help, and then was kind enough to drive me to the nearest medical clinic.  I was admitted rather quickly without much ado and had a couple of blood tests and a chest x-ray, at which point they put me on an oxygen tank for a little while.  Apparently the reason behind my lightheadedness truly was lack of oxygen, for when they took me off of it twenty minutes later I felt much better.  Having concluded that I was a case of borderline pneumonia and bronchitis, they prescribed me three decongestants, an antibiotic and two inhalors.

I spent the next couple days recuperating at home, and am now adjusting back to my normal life.  Things are going pretty swimmingly.  The only problems I've been having are strong tremors (aka the shivers--caused by the inhalors, I believe) and intense exhaustion and lethargy.  I didn't have the energy to play with my Tamagotchis during this turbulent time, but now I'm happy to say that Chaz and Nora are running again, age three and slated to become adults tomorrow.  I'm sorry I have to keep leaving them alone, and I'm sorry I keep leaving you all in the dark log-wise.  I'll try to do better, I promise.  But until I'm back up to par, your prayers and good wishes are much appreciated.   Smiley

Well I'm sure everyone here is glad all is well and that you are recovering okay. I know how it is when stuff like that just hits you without warning. Glad you got back into this and I've enjoyed your logs!

Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks so much, TigerLily013!  It's nice to know that you are a reader of my logs, and your well wishes are much appreciated.

Odd goings on, last night and today.  The second that Nora went to bed for the night, Chazz turned into an adult, despite only being three years old.  I was extremely delighted, because to my elation he's become an adorable Pyonkotchi!   You have to understand, Pyonkotchi is one of my favorite adults ever, and I've always been hoping for one.  Now it's like a dream come true!  Yaay!

With my immediate joy subsiding, I turned my attention to Nora's dilemma.  When I thought about it, I realized that somehow she must have gotten "younger" than Chazz somehow, though seeing as how I always have them both running at once I can't see how that would have occurred.  Nonetheless, it's happened to me before...I guess it's one of the mysteries of Tamahood.  Maybe Nora's been sneaking out at night or something, I don't know!   Grin

To combat this issue, I let Nora sleep through the night while leaving Chazz on pause.  Sure enough, this afternoon the second Nora was unpaused her changing tune sounded!  I watched with anticipation, as the fruit of my second round of experimentation morphed into a Furawatchi!  ...Now, I'm not quite certain how that happened.  I always thought that Furawatchi was healthy, and usually I get her as runner-up to Mametchi.  Perhaps it's one of those odd flukes.

In any case, I have two adorable adults to deal with, and soon enough they'll be having children!  I'll keep you all posted!

I believe that mating age is 4 or 5, just so ya know if you don't already. Good job on the really cute adults! Smiley

Thanks for the info, Rose!   Grin

Oh, my gosh, guys...it happened AGAIN!  I can't believe it.  I'm just so ticked off at myself!  I know I've made enough excuses with you guys, but this time I seriously did have quite the problem.  My life's hectic level was escalating more than ever, and I accidentally did something I never wanted to do: I left my Tamas unpaused for almost twelve hours.  ...When I got home, they were clinging to life.  I think fifteen more minutes would have killed them.  Feeling fortunate, I played with them for the rest of the evening and then let them sleep.

The next day, I did the same thing again.  I was so filled with shame and remorse.  I mean, I feel so fortunate that Chaz, Nora and their sons (oh, gosh, I forgot to tell you--they had sons!) have survived, but at the same time I feel so guilty.  I'm ashamed to even relate this to you all.   Sad  At the time, I felt as though my love for my Tamas was endangering their lives, so I decided to pause them until I could care for them again.

...I'm hoping that that time is now.  Things seem to be quieting down, and should stay that way for the next few months before it all starts to pick back up...after that happens, I just don't know.  I can't say what the future holds for my Tamas.  But for now, I'm back, and I think I'm going to have Tamababies tomorrow.  I'll keep you posted.
