I was about 9 or 10 I think when I got my first Tamagotchi.. It was a Gen2... I remember it being blue with black I think border, with Tamagotchi written on top. We had bought it at a local market for $10. I remember sitting in the car anxiously trying to pry open the box to start it up. =)

I don't have it anymore, throughout the years I lost sight of it, but I always take care in going to that same market even now once in a while for any chance of coming across another.

The 9 year Aniversery of when I got my very first Tamagotchi is on Christmas Day, tomorrow. I will never forget that day It was a Gen2, white with green border and red buttons. I was so excited and all of my other cousins had gotten a Tamagotchi for Christmas to. When the family would all get together for Christmas parites and new years eve and day there were about 15 Tamagotchi in the room Now I have even more then that by myself Anyway I have always loved Christmas and ever since I got interested in Tamagotchi again I always remember on Christmas when I got my first

I have that one too Ginjirotchi. It's.... from what I have read, supposed to be a christmass addition. There isn't anything in the packaging that would suggest it though and there's nothing different about the programming. But it does have Christmas colors.

Masukutchi: Yeah it is a really nice Tama. I was in grade 1 when I got that, and was never very careful with it, so it got bashed up a bit and all the paint came off. I still have it but never use it because it doesn't even have a chain now. I did however buy a new white/green/red P2 just last month and started it up four days back. I thought it would be nice to have going for the celebration of the 9 years I have spent with Tamagotchi

My first tama...that was forever ago. I asked for one on my 8th birthday and back with the originals I remember that my parents had trouble finding them, so it was a big suprise if I was going to get one.  Or at least to an eight year old it would have seemed a suprise. On the morning of my birthday I got a white egg a green border and buttons, and then later that evening some family friends gave me another tama that was a blue case with pink border and buttons. I loved those tamas sooooooo much. Then one day when I wasn't paying attention I think my mom got fed up with them and threw them away , because I have no idea where they are and no one in my family will tell me what exactly happened to them. Anyway, that's the story of my first tamas.

My first tamagochi i got when i was 8-9 it was a V1 it looked kinda like this---> I remebered when i was in preschool all my friends have the virtual pets  and i wanted one so badly but i never got one then i forgot aobut them for a wile untill i was at target and saw one i got it!!! i hatched it and i would always take it to school. I kinda started a trend. Everyone saw me with my new Tama Friend and all got one pretty soon there would be groups of kids in the middle of the school yard connecting during recess. Even teachers started to get them and would let us play with ours if we were all done with our work. It was pretty cool.

Mine was a V3, black with a red paint effect circle around the middle, i got it in 06

Lol, I can't remember my very first Tamagotchi... they were popular back in '96, and I was three or four at the time, and I can't really remember what I had. I know I had one, I just can't remember. However, of my recent Tamagotchis, my first was a V2, cream colored with orange, mint, and raspberry colors on it too. I got it from Target for Christmas... mainly because my cousin wanted one but there was only a two-pack. So, my step-mom solved that problem by buying it and letting me have one while Isabella took the other. And I ended up taking better care of mine. Hers died. XD

The first character I got on it was a male Hanatchi named Teddy.
