As for Chi's question about the glitchy, I haven't noticed as thing weird about my V3, and I've had it for a year. I do agree about the charecters in the V3;many are recycled and cute ones left out. I hope I can find a V4 where I live!

First thing... You do realise that the picture of the Generation 2 is of the Tamagotchi Mini?
Oh, and I didn't like the v3 either... too overrated in my opinion at least.
Why is it that soooooo many people think certain characters are new? A lot, and I mean, A LOT are taken from Mesutchi or Osutchi.
Here are the characters that are not new:
Teletchi (girl)- Taken from Mesutchi and Osutchi.
Mizutamatchi- Mesutchi/Osutchi
Mohitamatchi- Mesutchi/Osutchi
Kuchitamatchi- Generation 1
Tamatchi- Generation 1
Obotchi- Osutchi
Yangu Mametchi- Version 2
Nikatchi- Version 2
Hinatchi- Version 2
Patapatatchi- Mesutchi
Yangu Mimitchi- Version 1
Piroriroritchi- Osutchi
Hinotamatchi- Version 1
Hikotchi- Osutchi
Hashitamatchi- Generation 2
Mametchi- Generation 1
Mimitchi- Generation 2
Kuchipatchi- Generation 1
Memetchi- Version 1
Debatchi- Version 2
Dorotchi- Version 2
Urutchi- Version 2
Tarakotchi- Generation 1
Hanatchi- Version 1
Robotchi- Version 1
Mas(u)k(u)tchi- Version 1
Gozarutchi- Version 1
Bunbuntchi- Osutchi
Biruotchi (Billotchi)- Osutchi
Paparatchi- Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus
Hashitamatchi- Generation 2
Furawatchi- Version 2
Megatchi- Osutchi
Kurokotchi- Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus
Nyatchi- Generation 2 Japanese
Bill/Gaijintchi- Generation 1 USA
Sekitoritchi- Generation 2 Japanese
Pipotchi- Mesutchi
Oyajitchi- Generation 1 Japanese
Pyonkotchi- Mesutchi
Chomametchi- Osutchi
Nazotchi- Version 1
Ojitchi- Version 1
Otokitchi- Version 1
New characters? By now you'll be wondering... where are they? Where are they, indeed:
Mimiyoritchi
Tsunotchi
Warusotchi
Hohotchi
Teketchi
Decotchi
Hidatchi
If you've seen any of those characters in any older versions... please tell me...

Thats an awesome guide it helped me so much! oh and Chi v3 has A TON of glitches. you lose characters from the friend lists and family lists, you lose items between generations and WAY WAY WAY MORE.

Thank you for doing that! I'm new and just got a tamagotchi v5 today and am getting used to it. I haven't had one since I was really little and so it's way different for me! I love them though and have been thinking of buying more on Ebay. That helped me!
