So some of the members of the forum, I understand the choice of names. Some people just chose their own name instead of a nickname. But some of them are a mystery to me... so I'm just wondering.. what's the meaning of your nickname to you?

I chose mine for the most obvious reasons; Mimitchi has been my favorite Tama from the very beginning, my interest in Tamagotchi went from casual to enthusiast because of his cuteness in the start. My wanting to get more Tamagotchi started with loving the very first one. In a way Tamagotchi has changed my life. I wonder what I would have been obsessed about instead of Tamagotchi, if things had been different. I doubt anything else would have been nearly as fun as Tamagotchi.

But that is no real mystery I'm sure.

So what about you?

A lot have asked me if I got mine off of peter pan. Nope! Back when I got on my first forum, they had RP and I named myself after a RP character I made up. Tiger Lily was her nickname in the RP. the 013 refers to my love for that number, that and the number 3 Wink I do have other usernames that are in the close range to this username such as MoonKitty013, tigereye013 etc... But yeah this one I've used the longest.

I'm always so happy to get in on a forum early enough that my name hasn't been taken yet. Cheesy

Alicetwasbrillig and varitions of it that I use all come from my favorite books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

The Alice part is obvious as to where it comes from but the "Twas Brillig" part comes from a poem that is in Through the Looking Glass.  The poem is "Jabberwocky" and the words Twas Brillig are the first words of the poem

My username was something I picked up from my Mums pen-pal book.

She writes to about (at last count) 86 people all over the world, our mail-box is always full and she's always writing away in the kitchen with a cuppa but I used to help stamp the envelopes and look through her pen-pal book. One of her friends was named 'Bojko' and I thought that was simply the coolest name ever.

I was always awful with usernames, always stumped and never had one I stuck to, Bojko is easy to remember and I just love the name. =)

A long time ago, when I was signing up to another Tamagotchi Forum (tamatalk) I kept inputting usernames, and they were all taken, so I got a bit "angry" and I pulled out the comic supplement from the newspaper (Pequeño País), and began reading the Calvin and Hobbes one (I really like Calvin & Hobbes =)) and since Calvin is sometimes known as Captain Spiff, I thought the name was funny and cool, so I just wrote in spiffy, and luckily it wasn't taken up already, so I was very happy to be Spiffy. ^_^

Well lets see. My username, came from my last name; Everly. And my birth year 1984. I was tired of being creative. Since I am not very good at it. So thats just what I decided on since most of everyone I know calls me by my last name anyways, instead of Chris.

My nicknames easy to explain, the name webster is the name of my first gen2 tamagotchi and the 4 at the end is from the year 04 (very good year for me^-^).

I don't even remember why I chose Mothra. It might have been right after I saw the Mothra movie a couple Christmasses back when I was invited to join TamaTalk. I really am not sure.
But I like Mothra, My name starts with an "M" and ends with an "a" too.  Mothra is also female. Hahaha, I really don't remember exactly why I chose it. I use it at most of the Tama groups though.

Well tamaboi came about from not wanting to use my last name anymore.  So I LOVE TAMA's and I am a Kid at heart so that is where the boi came from.  So tamaboi I became.
