Hey guys, I'm Nintendo. (I figured I would just put this and my member info all in one post). I have a neon green tamagotchi p1   . He is six years old right now and for some reason he is still just a Marutchi lol. I have named him Neon.  I am looking forward to sharing our tamagotchi adventures together. Thanks!!

Regarding the years and character relation. On P1/P2 you can pause all you want, put the Tama to sleep than wake it up and the years will change on the status screen. However internally the character will not grow until the amount of time has passed that it should pass.

In the beginning they had years=amount of days passed. They assumed all caretakers would put their Tamagotchi to bed every night. This would make it possible for someone to have a Marutchi at age 6 if you paused a whole bunch and put him to bed every night.

Oh awesome. Yeah thats what I do lol! I have him paused all day, and I unpause him so he can sleep. Oooh he just got sick! I think he may be getting ready to change!

Well, he finally changed into his final stage. I don't know the actual name of it, but it is the half blue half black character with the skinny legs. He just evolved about an hour ago. Pretty excited 'cuz he is the one that can transform into the secret character

Don't wanna argue with the admin ^^' but seeing how this is a p1, wouldnt he be Maskutchi?

lol! Thanks Jiro for the good luck. And yes, I got a Masukutchi. I am seriously aiming for a Kuchipatchi (spelling?) next time. Haha. Also, if you guys wanna see my fictional Journal of a scientist discovering a new species (tamagotchi) check it out. I think it is in the Character Share section as well lol.
