Hello, I'm Nik.. I was Madcow on the old Mimitchi.com board, and I was a very active poster on it.. I was really sad when it was deleted..But now it's back so yay!

There's other boards out there like Tamatalk and Tamavillage.  Tamatalk always ends up grating my nerves because most of the people act really immature..and well I probably don't need to explain it that much.  And Tamavillage is nice too, but it is quickly becoming like Tamatalk.

So anyways, this looks like a nice board and it seems like it's filled with a nice group of mature people, so I'm looking forward to posting more and more..I just gotta get a cool avatar first.

See ya around guys. Smiley And welcome back Kat. Smiley

Hey Madcow! Good to see you again! =)

Yeah, I know what you mean about Tamatalk and Tamavillage, I *tried* getting involved with them when these boards went offline.. but lost interest and patience rather quickly. It is indeed a happy thing to be able to have the old boards back.

Oh whoops: I mean.. Hey nowonmai. Wink

Welcome back Nik! Good to see you've found your way back here

I feel like I made a poor decision back than, i wish I had not gone down for so long. Life takes its toll sometimes. I lost my audience to most of those other chat places. I was surprised so many people have come back. I figured everyone was happy at the new locations. It's really nice that so many have returned.

You won't find immaturity here.. too much of us are mature and the few of those that came in with an attitude were quickly put in their places =) I never want this to become an out of control mess like my old board sometimes was.

It's good to see you again.

I said it before (on the old forum, trying to talk Kat out of closing it down  Wink ) and I'll say it again: the Mimitchi.com forums have always been intrinsically different from the other places. These forums have always been a great source of information, because it has always been a community of experts and serious collectors. The Mimitchi.com forums have always been about quality where other forums have just been about quantity of posts and members. It's easy to accumulate zillions of posts by kids who are picking up the latest trend, but it's much harder (and more valuable, I think) to bring together a group of thoughtful posters who stick around and strive to keep things at a high intellectual level, and on the cutting edge of Tamagotchi news.

I remember finding it impossible to get any information on TamaTalk about any of the non-English language Tamagotchis, and rarely did I read anything that I didn't already know. I learn new things about Tamagotchi every day here! People work hard to bring new information and new analysis, and the quality of writing is just higher.

Worrying about losing your audience to other forums is like a fine restaurant worrying about losing its patrons to a fast food joint across the street. Smiley

Welcome back to TSS Smiley It's very nice to meet you. I'm glad this place came back up when it did. I was in a rut about Tamazone since being given a rep I did not deserve and left, and Tamatalk I post on their sometimes...but yeah I can't really get into it much. This place is perfect because it's mostly people in my age range I can talk to and help. Ever since coming on here my logs and information have been given a lot more positive feedback, and a lot more encouraging comments. This place definitely makes you feel welcome.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Smiley I haven't played with my tamagotchis since before summer of last year, and this probably sounds lame but I think it's because there was no where for me to post about tamagotchis..lol For me, talking to other fans of it and sharing experiences makes the whole experience itself more fun.  So now that this place is back, I'm ready to get back in the game. Smiley  And with Kat as the Admin, I can only expect good things. Cheesy

Anyways, a few days ago I started my V3s and I finally mated my Snakeskin one with my Bluewaves one.  So now, Emily (Pyonkitchi) and Dude (Dorotchi) have kids.. and I started my Morino, Angel, and Umino. heh. It's kinda a handful, but with the approaching winter break, I'll have alot of time on my hands.

LOL well now that I've rambled in my own thread enough, I'll shut up now. Tongue See ya guys around the forums!

I'm not very good at taking compliments. But wow. That is one of the most awesome compliments I've ever received. Thank you Smiley

Now maybe I can have that restaurant feel and start making Tamagotchi Cookies for everyone

Anyways back on topic, welcome back Nik, hope you enjoy your stay here as much as you did on the old forums and more Smiley
