I finished my FAQ! I still have a few things to add, but it's for the msot part finished.

1:Caretaking
1.1:Basics
1.2:Dicipline
2:The 6 Games
3:Raising
3.1:Baby
3.2:Toddler
3.3:Teen
3.4:Adult
4:Connecting
4.1:Having kids by Connecting

Note:I'm assuming you know the obvious things, so I'm not telling you things like "The first button is the check meter"

1.Caretaking

Feeding a meal fills one happy heart, feeding a steak(special code item) fills 2.
Feeding a snack fills one happy heart, feeding a cake(special code item) fills 2.
Meals add one to weight, snacks adds 2. Seeing a pattern? XD
If you play a game, do well to fill one heart, and beating the game fills all happy hearts.
A tama must have at least 3 pounds over it's mimimum weight in order to play a game.
You need to keep these hearts full to get good charecters. These hearts empty over time, and also they each go down by one when the tama poops.
Some kinds of tama's don't lose hearts when they poo, but almost all do.
There is also 2 invisible hearts, I they don't influence the charecter you get, but it makes it easy to keep the visible hearts full.
To keep all of hungry's 6 hearts full, just feed it meals, once it doesn't accept any more than all 6 hearts are full.
Happy is harder; just play a game when it loses a visible heart and whenever you feel like it. You might have to feed it a snack to get it's weight high enough to play a game sometimes, but then the snack fills a happy heart so then you probably don't need to play a game at that moment, unless you want to.

1.2 Dicipline

When your Tama calls for attention but doesn't need anything, give it a time out.
This will give you one training bar and make it lose one happy heart.
When your Tama calls for attention and is crying or in a bad mood, give it praise, this fills a training bar and fills a happy heart.
There are 9 training bars.

2:The 6 Games

Get Notes
The small notes are worth 1 point, the big ones are worth 2. Miss a point or catch a poo and you lose. You can go through poops when they are at the very bottom of the screen, though. 100 points to win, 40 points to fill one happy heart.

Baby:150 points for win
Toddler:150 points for win
Teen:225 points for win
Adult:300 points for win

Bump
Press the B button when the bar is high... the heavier your tama is the easier it will be to win, but for every 10 pounds your winnings go down by 600;if it's 89 pounds or higher you only get 600 points for winning. Also, some kinds of tama's just plain suck at this. Press the B button right after the bar starts moving, get the hang of that trick and you can get a high bar most of the time.

Heading

After bouncing the ball, move back to the middle, this way you can avoid having the ball come down on the right while your on the left. You have to boucne it 20 times. 400 points for winning.

Flag

You just have to practice practice practice! And watch out for tricks such as the small trick flag and the flag appearing on the other side. 9 rounds, each last 3 turns. 600 points for winning.

Memory

No comment. 400 or 600 points for win.

Sprint

I've heard lighter Tamas do better. Press one button as fast as you can; pick any button you want. There's 7 rounds, and you get 400 points for winning. As with bump, some Tama's are just really bad at this game.

3.Raising

This part of the FAQ helps with each stage of your Tamagotchi's life.

3.1 Babies
Feed it 6 meals and win the Get Notes game immediently! If you aren't good at Get Notes then feed 3 snacks too and then play it. This stage lasts an hour and 5 minutes, give or take a few minutes, and your tama will get sick once and take one nap. Bad care gets you Kuchitamatchi(Also if you take too long to fill hearts at the very beggining),otherwise it's pretty random, even perfect care has gotten people different toddlers, so it just random. The generation or dicipline levels of parents do not affect the toddler you get either.
3.2 Toddlers
The bump game isn't useful for getting hearts or points, unless you make your Tama 69-89 pounds, which makes it very useful. This stage lasts 24 hours.
Taking perfect care(Odd generation) gets Young Mametchi, 1 or 2 mistakes gets you Obotchi, 2 or 3 gets you Patopatachi, and more mistakes gets you Piropirolintchi(Is that right?), and even worse gets you Nikatchi.
For Even Generations, it depends on the toddler you had;Mizumatchi and Kuchitmatchi can only get Hasitamatchi and Hinotamatchi.

3.3 Teens
When it turns around and shows you it's back and gets a puff of air at it's head, give it praise. Heading is a very good game, flag is good once you practice enough. Lasts 3 days. The Youngs will turn into their Adult forms if given perfect care. There's so many adults I can't tell you much about which you will get...

3.4 Adults
There will be no more asking for praise or time outs. If you get a good adult, you won't have to care for them much, and some of the worst adults will need so much care that even in the hands of a good caretaker it might die.
If you connect with another tamagotchi thats an adult of the opposite gender then they will have kids(You do not NEED to use the love potion, but you can if you don't have time to connect-see connecting for detials) and even if you don't have babies by connecting the matchmaker will come at 3PM and other times with a mate for you once you tama is old enough.(You can say yes or no).
The Adult will leave the baby alone after 2 nights(if you don't pause much), and then you get to raise the baby.
If you don't have a baby, then your Tama will turn into a Oldie(There's one kind for boys and one kind for girls) and cannot have children unless you connect with the other gender of Oldie, which results in the secret charecter Oyajitchi.

4.Connecting
Have both tamagotchi that are connecting be close to eachother and pick the same connection option(Or "Other" if not connecting with V3), then press the b button when it says "stand by". If you wrap a present then when doing a "present" connection you will send the present to the others tamagotchi. Slowly their friendship will build up.

4.1 Having Kid by Connecting

Do the visit option when 2 adults of the opposite gender are at an appropriate age, and have a relationship level of 4 hearts, in order to have kids by connecting. You do not need to use a love potion, but I sends their Friendship automatically to 4 hearts after a connect or two.

Good start but I'd fix the title so it shows this is a FAQ for Connections. Right now it seems a bit vague.

I'd say its a pretty good start. V3 is pretty complex and there appears to be some information missing (or maybe I missed it), such as discussion about the matchmaker or much about the characters in general.

There's a few places were you say you aren't "sure" about things, when you find that information it'd be great if you updated this.

Also, this might just be me, but the spacing between topics and such seem a little odd =)

Please don't take my comments negatively, they are just observations. I think this is a nice guide and it's definitly worth a Sticky. =)

The order of kids is wrong. One of my friends took really bad care of a baby and she got Mizutamatchi. I took perfect care of a baby and I got Tamatchi.

As far as I know, the order goes: Kuchitamatchi, Mizutamatchi, Tamatchi, Mohitamatchi.

I'll change the order once I get more info, it might be random though, I took horrible care of it when I first got my V3(Couldn't do Get notes right) and got Tamatchi. Mohitamatchi being best sounds right though, I get it all the time, Kuchitamatchi is definatly worst, that leaves whether Tamatchi or Mizumatchi for worst. I have also added all the Gotchi points for winning the Get notes game at different stages, and made a change in the gameplay sentance in caretaking.

I think it is a good guide for new V3 Tama caretakers. I don't have one yet, but after reading this it makes me want to go and buy one and try it out! Cheesy

Yes indeed. I think that we could do more research into this, because my V3 Tamatchi became a Mametchi, which sort of suggests to me that Tamatchi is pretty good care.

Yes, this would help out almost anybody!

Also, one of the first things I did when I got my V3 was read this FAQ, and it helped me a lot! So far I've gotten the best tot and I think the best teen!  Congratulations on a FAQ well done!

One tip:  I think you're a little vague on the games.  You just give strategies on how to play them, but I didn't even KNOW how to play them.
