I don't know how much "lots" is for you  Wink but yes, we do have quite a handful of Japanese toys here, which is a cool thing.  I'm so excited to get the Akai! LOL  I do have to wait for the weekend though, because I get off work quite late most of the time (the stresses and demands of the IT industry  Tongue) Where you guys come from, are there lots of versions of Tamas right now?  Because we only have 3 - Connection v3, UraTama, and Akai.  And I just about started with Tamagotchis LOL so I don't have a lot yet.  When I get the Akai, that will make me the owner of a measly 3 Tamas.  Embarrassed

The selection in North America frankly stinks. We have Connections versions 1 to 3, and minis. That's it. No cool coloured pixels, no connecting to phones, just infrared and TamaTown.

That's why I buy everything off eBay!

Where I live I see only V3's, lanyards, some of those little clippy things and the plush keepers. Seems to be the stores here only hold the latest things, I couldn't find a v1 or v2 if i tried.

I so wish one day to find a Japanese store. I found one at the mall but its clothing and wood carvings and more traditional items - and no Tamas or toys.

Welllll, the only reason I know where to get V1's and V2's around here is because I work at the store that has them.    The  manager ordered them at my suggestion when they first came out, and because we're such a small store, we still have leftovers kicking around. We never got the V3's in stock; I guess they decided we just couldn't compete with Wal-Mart. Sometimes kids come in with their V3's hanging around their necks, joyfully clacking together, and they spy the V1's hanging on their pegs, and their eyes bug out. "Version ones!!" They examine them like they're rare antiques or something.

LOL well I'm sure if I went to your store and saw the v1s, I'd say and do exactly the same thing!  Cheesy  Over here, we have the little tama house thinggies that you can display on your desk and the 3 kinds of tamas. That's it. No lanyards, plush toys.  Cry  And it's so funny because if you asked the store attendants, they cannot tell you what version those are.  Wink

Little tama house thingies? I don't think I've seen such a thing! Can you point me to a photo?

Sure!  Wink I don't think I've seen them online, so I'll just post pictures of the items themselves at the mall.  I'll be sure to take quick pictures of them when I go this week - they're basically small houses about 4 inches high and each "house" comes with even smaller characters that you can put in it. I think those "houses" are the huts we see in tamatown (I'm not entirely sure - I don't want you guys to get disappointed and annoyed with me when I get back with the pictures and they're not tamatown huts after all LOL  Cheesy)

I finally went to the mall tonight (I made it to the mall on a weekday simply because the mall started closing late for the holidays  Cheesy) and I got the pictures of the house thinggies!  Here they are! Grin
