What version is this?

Hi, I saw this Tamagotchi in the mall a few days back, and as the attendants do not know what version it is (weird attendants eh? haha), I thought I should ask you guys. I took a quick picture of it - sorry for the poor quality
The designs they have are mostly plain - I saw plain red, plain white. But there are 2 printed ones. The antennae and loop of this is identical to that of Connection v3.
What do you guys this this version is? Because if it's a different one, I'm buying it!
Haha

It looks like a Tamagotchi Plus except in has an antennae so I'm not really sure what type of tamagotchi it is.

Hmmm I must say I didn't know this is a rare thing.
I'm from Manila, and it's in toy stores here. I am really looking for UraTamas and all I see are these Akais. Haha, I was quite annoyed actually (clueless huh? hahaha). UraTamas, on the other hand, are so scarce here. Well, now that I know it's a rare thing, I definitely will buy it. I haven't got it yet, but I will within the week

Oh that's cool! It is an AKAI! I would buy it if I found one. :p They have red pixels to celebrate all thats red. They will connect to UraTama, but only play games - they can't breed or anything.
Have fun with it!

Philippines get lots of imported toys from Japan if I am not wrong?
Yup, that's Keitai (mostly like Japanese V3) special edition called "Akai" (Red). Red/grey screen instead of normal black/grey.
Can't breed with Connections/Connexions, I'm not sure about other connecting.
Has some new red themed characters which normal Keitai doesn't have, like Tomatchi (tomato) and Cheritchi (cherry berry).
Good find.
