Is the chat actually going to be Christmas themed? Because, I like you guys and everything, but I'd rather not get up at 8AM to discuss a holiday I don't celebrate.

I doubt it, like every other chat it's just gonna be tama themed^^ I think Christmas is only being related because of the time of year. Could very well be 6 days before Hanukkah, 16 days before Kwanzaa, 267 days before Lord Monkey day, whatever

Wow, 9pm for West Aussies, that's neat.

I can pretty much make anytime from 10am - 3am, as I'm usually always up during those hours and am on holidays... hehe.. lots of free time.

I'll be sure to pop in tomorrow to say hi.

Kat, what if you put alarm ringing 4:50 and bring laptop on your bedside table when you go to sleep so you have quick access to the internet without jumping off the bed? Wink

*imagines Kat poking Brendan with Hand & Nails bottle at 5:02 Sunday morning and laptop on her blanket; "Hey Breandan, you wanna say 'hi' to ppl in the chatroom?"
Brend; "*mumble* *snork* *yawn* ...one DoubleMcBacon please...zzZZz *snore*"

lol too funny. I can so see that in my head. It's a good idea I just might do that, tho if I stay in bed I run the risk of falling asleep in the chat

Hehe I'll try to be there though, I make no promises, but... I'll do my bestga ^^

I've come to realize we should start to call Christmas "Holidays" that there won't become misunderstandment like this.

We come from many countries, many cultures, some of us are christian, some are not. The thing that connects us is interest in virtual pets, not skin color or the things we believe in.

No, this tomorrow chat is not going to be about Christmas the way it's including something religional. Some of us are propably being excited if they are going to have Tamas as presents two weeks from this, but we are going to chat mostly with other things than Christmas and it's symbols.

Tomorrow chat can also be "2 Weeks Until School's Over" chat, or perhaps "14 Nights Until That Chub Guy in Red Suit Brings Naughty Kids Lots of Charcoal" chat

*hugs Kokuma and Brendan* How well-stated and reassuring! I will make sure to be there for some multi-denominational Tamagotchi chat.  Wink Grin

I'm staying at my parents' place for the weekend, so I'm using my mom's Apple iBook, and Everywherechat's java applet doesn't work too well on it (as in, it doesn't work at all)... but I'm so motivated to be there tomorrow morning that I downloaded my first IRC client and figured out how to connect it to #Tamagotchi, never having done anything like this before in my life.    So I'll see you there!

Elana, if you need any help with IRC I'm happy to help out
(I suggest mIRC client, but I don't know if it runs on a mac, I think it does though)

I got Ircle, because it seemed to be a popular choice for Mac. I'm sure I'm not advanced enough to be able to tell if one client is superior to another — I just want it to work! And so far Ircle is serving nicely. I've been chatting with people on and off this evening. Can't wait for tomorrow morning!
