Upgrade complete. There should be no forum errors or problems at this time. If you have any problems please post them in the feedback forum

Just to note, one of the most noticiable new features of the upgrade is the Buddy List. You can add friends to this list so you can view when your buddies are online all on one page.

Also all new members must provide visual verification upon registration. This will help cut down on spam.

Additionally users can now turn off Word Censoring in their profile settings.

We had some downtime there, but Brendan fixed up a lot of the customized features on the fourm

If you are interested in seeing a summary of some of the new features you can see them right here.

Most notably is the ability to access and read this forum on a mobile device (such a a cell phone!)

Yeah, sorry everyone. I spilled coffee on the server and everything went kind of wonky. I figured the best thing to do would be to take us off-line for a little bit while I ran a blow-dryer over everything

I followed that link but I had a hard time understanding it. How do I access this forum from my cell phone?

Well, I think I figured it out - it just means that it automatically recognizes if you're browsing from a mobile device and reformats to make it more compatible with a phone's screen, right? It's not like text messaging you new posts or anything.

I would have just deleted my previous post but for some reason the "modify" button isn't appearing at the top. I can modify my other posts, but not this one. Is that because I didn't start this thread, or is this a bug?

SMF says this: "For wireless access, any personal assistant which supports WAP/WML, WAP 2, or I-MODE should work. "

Modify should work in this forum now.

WAP is data transfer protocol for internet use with mobile phones. Those other might be similar protocols in mobile networks in other parts of the world (WAP is used in Europe)
