Usually when connecting friend's tamagotchis or my own I have the red parts barely touching, but still quite close. This seems to work better for me when the batteries are drained a little more than others. I've done it distance, but works better for me closer together. Aw well.

DancingKayley, great logs! I've been keeping track off and on of your logs and I enjoy reading them. I'm glad you're enjoying your V4.

My Memetchi evolved to Makiko today! I was so happy... I was like, showing EVERYONE...  Man I love those emoticons...  Can't help it, it's like an obsession  Okay I better stop now... just one last one...  Well that's all there are, so I can't post any more...

I bought an umbrella and Makiko looks so cute with it! When I get a chance I'll scan Makiko so I always have a way to remember her by.

And my v1? She evolved into Kuchipatchi, not Hanatchi. Maybe I should discipline it less.

I reckon it's freaky when Makiko does the falling over thing in her animation 'cause she looks like the Faceless Maruten, and as you know Faceless Maruten is the DEATH SYMBOL...

Don't you just love how Bandai created the items' effect that each character having used one looks different from the rest? The company get pretty creative, lol!

During school at lunchtime today I saw another girl with her v4, and we connected. She had an Obotchi. We played the blocks game twice, the flag game, the soccer game and I gave her a present (which was a sundae). Does anybody know what the fourth game is, because it's only once in a blue (or maybe even purple) moon that I ever see someone else with a v4.

When I got home I had to go to dancing straight away so I had to pause my v4 and put my v1 to sleep.

On the way home from dancing I was in my friend's mum's car. And the light in there doesn't work.

Where there was light from the streetlights I put my Tamagotchi towards the window eagerly checking the mail icon to see if it was flashing as I was very anxious to get a job soon. I knew that it had been about 24 hours unpaused time, and I couldn't wait. Near the end of the trip home I saw the mail icon WAS flashing. I couldn't wait to read it, but since there was not enough light, I knew I shouldn't.

When I got home I checked my Tamagotchi's mail. And there it was! The [!] mail. I eagerly opened it and saw my Tamagotchi go to school talking to Ms. Flower. Makiko gave her top hat back to Ms. Flower and then they continued the sad conversation, then Makiko came back. No sooner than she had come back Nazotchi came with another [!] mail, so I opened that too. Now for job offers.

I wanted my Tamagotchi to become a florist, but Makiko got turned down (even though she has the right skill points?). So I chose baker, and she got it!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy. Even though v4 has its glitches, I find that the glitches don't really scar me when you look at all the surprise and fun on this Tamagotchi.

Salary day tomorrow, I wonder how much Makiko gets...

Oh yeah and I am proud to have Makiko, I've been showing pretty much everyone! That girl who I connected with is going to have a secret character on her friends list! (Like I have two eggs on my v1's friends list.) I think I'll go for Nonbiritchi and Tensaitchi when I get the chance to. I find Shape and Flag are MUCH easier than Dance. But I will still have to play Dance to get the skill points <_< I think I'm the only one in my whole school who ever has got a secret character on mine, and one of a rare few who have gotten a Mametchi or Mimitchi. I only know 2 other people who have gotten Mametchi or Mimitchi. But being the only one to get a secret character is not that hard to acheive, since we have a small school and not many have Tamagotchi, though we have really good designs here in Australia. Ours are from Entama designs.

I went to PEAC today. My PEAC teacher doesn't mind me having Tamagotchi (because her daughters have them too), and once I even kept the sound on! (But one beeped so I'm not doing that again, and v4 was due to get mail during PEAC so no) I turned the sound off and brought my Tamagotchi in class. They were pretty good and easy to care for.

After school I had a maths thing back at school, so I just left my Tamagotchi at home not even bothering to pause seeing the maths class is only 1hr long. When I returned Kuchipatchi had dropped 2 hungry hearts and Makiko had dropped 1 hungry 1 happy heart and had a fortune cookie.

I opened the fortune cookie and got 1 star for wealth, 3 stars for relationships and 2 stars for health.

What I don't get about the bakers job is that I can get 12 things with the claw if I'm lucky (usually doesn't give me time) and I STILL ONLY GET THE GOOD RATING. I wonder how much I need to get Excellent. And I wonder when I get my second job offer. Ah, looks like I still have a lot to figure out about my little pet

Okay now I've figured something about the bakers or florist job:

You have to hold the A button to make the cakes or flowers move faster. I've been able to get a few excellents from doing this.

I'm SO annoyed at the moment. My mum says I can have 15 minutes of computer for every 5 minutes on the piano. I know, it doesn't sound bad, but I HATE PIANO WITH A PASSION. I'd rather spend my time reading (or playing DS, har har har) in my room. Which means I might not be adding stuff for a while.

I hate (almost) everything. I hate piano, school, clarinet. I don't want to be where I am at the moment.

That's awesome that your teacher is cool with you having your Tamas with you during school. I bring my Tamagotchi with me to school every day and the teachers don't seem to mind either. They have never said anything to me yet and I've been bringing them since September, so I guess they don't care hehe

Well actually you're allowed to bring your Tamagotchi to school... but not in class, let alone with the sound on... but this is PEAC and not really my school so yeah.

Makiko had a baby yesterday. So now I have Jenni the Kuchipatchi and her baby boy and Haigh the Makiko and her baby girl. I noticed the v4 marriage sequence, soundwise and animation wise is very similar to Entama.

I turned on my DS this morning to play Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop 2 and to my horror the save data was corrupted and had to be deleted. And... do you want to know how far I was in the game?

All shops royal, all membership cards, 102 out of 103 members royal and excellent relationship with Memetchi.

Oh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... and I have to build up my relationship with Memetchi again...

I went to the shops the other day and found wave 3 Tamagotchi Connexion v4 had come out. The new designs are:

Jinsei Swimming (like the GUTS swimming design of Entama, but says JINSEI instead of GUTS)
White with pink flowers
White and silver snowflakes
Frill Pink

But I'm happy with what I have. I reckon that if you're gonna get two v4s, forget it, try getting a v4 and v4.5 (when it comes out).

The Tamagotchi babies are called Micha and Tor and now Micha is a Yangu Memetchi and Tor is a Yangu Mimitchi. I plan on mating them when they get older. Micha's teacher is Mr. Canvas as I'm aiming for a Furawatchi. Her skill points are now 64-52-95. Hey, she dropped a happiness heart! I'll play Shape and raise some Intelligence points. Yay, beat Shape! You see I do want higher Kindness points but I want a good enough amount of points in the others as well for my Tamagotchi to become an all-rounder.
