My classmate at school called himself Bob from Scotland once, so that's how I got the name.

Maybe next generation I'll let the hungry hearts drop to 0 once when it's a teen and then care for it properly. Discipline maybe 7-8 lines.

My Tamagotchi is now on 70th Generation, a Kinakomotchi. Just floating around right now... The parent left yesterday, as expected. Hm.

Kinakomotchi evolved into Yangu Mimitchi, so now I have Bob the Yangu Mimitchi.

Getting my v4 TOMORROW... ohhhhhhhhh I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o excited!!!!!!!!!!! My username is going to be KEIRI. That's because if you put my name into Japanese, and then translate the Japanese characters directly back to English, you get KEIRII.

Waaaaaaaaa, Cry  everyone is getting a V4 but me!  Grin No really, I'm happy for you because it'll be  fun. I've requested 2 for my birthday. Gosh, just a kid at heart.

A great choice of name too. Did you have a color picked out already or will you know when you see it?

I had a colour picked out already Wink It is blue with diamonds.

And here's an entry I just typed in my web blog, copied and pasted 'cause I'm lazy:

I got a Tamagotchi v4 on Friday. It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o cool! The games and everything has improved so much since the version 3. I like the skill points system. Now I have 50 intelligence points, 153 style points and 50 kindness points. My Tamagotchi is called Jenni (after my favourite teacher) and it is a Yangu Mimitchi. My username is KEIRI.

I also got Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop 2. I have everyone's membership card now and all shops royal. My nicknames on the game are "Chi" and "Blah".

My Tamagotchi's teacher is Ms. Flower. I am trying to get a Meidotchi. I'm playing mostly Shape and Flag, using the school to boost my Tamagotchi's style points. I want my Tamagotchi to be a teacher.

A robber came earlier today and stole 500 Gotchi Points. Unfortunately, I only HAD 500 Gotchi Points. But then I played Flag and won 400p. I think Flag has become easier and faster than the v3 Flag.

So far my Tamagotchi's growth path is Shirotsubutchi/Tsubutchi -> Harutchi -> Yangu Mimitchi. And then hopefully -> Meidotchi. I'm only aiming for Meidotchi 'cause I get Mimitchi too much and had mostly style points at the time.

And no I haven't forgotten my v1. His name is "Bob" and he is a Mimitchi. Another good reason not to target Mimitchi on my v4.

Here is a picture of my v4 for anyone interested.

EDIT: Yangu Mimitchi evolved into Meidotchi! YAYYYYYYY!! Certainly takes a lot quicker to evolve than older versions, it's 2 years old WITH pausing.

My Meidotchi got a job as a fashion designer, married Bob, had twin girls, and then returned to Tamagotchi Planet.

I now have a Tamagotchi called Jenni on my v1, and a Tamagotchi called Haigh on my v4. My v4 is a Mohitamatchi and my v1 is a Marutchi. Mohitamatchi can go to preschool, but I'm trying to keep the kindness points high, so I won't go so often because preschool raises style points.

Lol thanks... it seems to be such a popular colour I haven't seen it in stores since...

Anyway. Back to my logs Tongue

I got an Ichigotchi teen and I am aiming for Makiko. It seems that Ichigotchi is a "glitchy" character because its weight can go down to 0lbs. To resolve this, I'm going to keep the weight around 20lbs, or it'll become so light when a strong wind comes she'll blow everywhere... lol

I get my skill points by feeding about 3 snacks and then playing games. Ichigotchi's skill points are: 48-164-43. I chose Ms. Flower as my teacher. I'm trying to get 200 style points today, and 300 tommorow (though that'll be pretty hard 'cause I have school). So I'll try and get MORE than 200 style points, like 250, so when it evolves to an adult I only have 100 to go. The first 30 style points are easy, 'cause school makes it sooooooooooo easy...

As for my v1... it's Hinotamatchi. I might try starving it today, as ANOTHER desperate attempt to get Hanatchi.

Well bye for now. Better get back to playing games on my v4.

Thanks! I reckon the beads are pretty too. Version 1 in Australia has a keychain, versions 2 and 3 had the wide rubber strap thingy and version 4 had the pretty beads.

My Tamagotchi's stats are now:

Intelligence: 54
Style: 293
Kindness: 50

I was playing Dance at the shops while my mum was waiting to be served at the chicken counter at Woolworths (supermarket in Australia, I wonder what's with the name?).

A girl at school today in a younger grade had a pink w/ icecreams v3, with Tamatchi. I connected my Ichigotchi and Hinotamatchi with her. According to my friends list, her Tamagotchi's name was Jazzi. My characters always won the games, because I had teenager characters and my Ichigotchi was probably the healthiest out of all three Tamagotchi. I connected Ichigotchi and Hinotamatchi and Ichigotchi kept winning. By the way the girl did not know how to connect at first (she had forgotten?!) so I had to tell her how. We always had to choose "others" because I don't have a version 3 and she doesn't have a version 1 or version 4.

I think it's not on pressing buttons in connecting games, it's what character you have and how you raise your Tamagotchi.

What I hate about connecting with others is that they don't understand that the tops don't need to be touching to connect, though it would be a good idea in, say, brighter lighting, like I was in... Some people push the top of their Tamagotchi right into the top of mine which I REALLY hate. In shady conditions, it's probably better to just keep the distance to 10cm (4in) apart.

I hope my Tamagotchi will evolve soon, but I doubt it... It only takes about 48 hours for a version 4 to evolve from teenager to adult. Since it evolved at about 3.30pm on Saturday and I've paused it for 5 hours, it's due to evolve ~8.30pm. So I'll keep my Ichigotchi awake for later and hopefully it evolves into Memetchi.

When Luke and I first got our Version 1s, we thought we had to push buttons to try to win the connecting games. But after some experimentation it became evident that pushing buttons had no effect, so we just stopped pushing buttons and let the Tamagotchis play with each other. Smiley

The units send one beam of infrared with all the information in it, so after they connect, you don't even have to hold them together or even pointed at each other. After that first burst of information, they just run through the animations. They don't need a continuous stream of connection. So after I connect my Tamagotchi, I put them down and do something else while they play their game.

When I connect my own personal Tamagotchis, I push the tops together because then I can just hold them with the flats of my palms. (I tend to connect my Tamagotchis when I wake up in the morning that they're old enough to mate, so I'm often half asleep when I do it, so the less finger dexterity necessary, the better!) But when I connect with someone else, I stay a decent distance, to respect their Tamagotchi's personal space. Cheesy
