Yesterday the Matchmaker came to my Tamagotchi while I was eating dinner. I checked on them at about 7.10pm and saw that the Matchmaker was on my v1. I thought that if the Matchmaker was on my v1 then she must have come on my v4 because my v4's slightly older than my v1.

I accepted the matchmaker on my v1 and she matched Kinai up with a Hanatchi. The two of them married and had female children. Then I set the time to 6.59pm on my v4 and waited a minute for the matchmaker to come.

You know those people who say that "when the Matchmaker comes, press A for a girl and B for a boy" or "when the Matchmaker comes, press B when her book is closed for a girl and press B when her book is closed for a boy"? I found someone else who said something like those other two theories (which I believe I've proved wrong). This time it is "press B when the Matchmaker's mouth is open for a girl and press B when the Matchmaker's mouth is closed for a boy."

I decided to test it. When the Matchmaker came on my v4, I pressed B when the Matchmaker's mouth was closed. And lo and behold a Mimitchi came to marry Hiko and they had male children.

Yes, it's strange. One of those theories actually worked. However, that's only one test, so it's not very accurate.

I've been rather lazy with my Tamagotchi so they're kinda heavy. Especially Hiko. Take a look at the stats and you'll see what I mean.

Right now I'm looking after my Tamagotchi's children, Sarah the Kinakomotchi and Cody the Harutchi. When both my Tamagotchi were babies the rule was this: The version 1 always gets cared for first. This is because it's so easy to look after v1 babies. I might even be able to raise five at once, if I wanted to. Maybe even more.

Sarah went into preschool, though I didn't write down the stat gain.

Sorry for not updating over the past few days. And it's not like nothing happened either. Since my Tamagotchi are still growing up, things did happen.

Sarah's a Yangu Mimitchi now. Cody evolved into a Yangu Mametchi and then into a Zukyutchi just now. In case you're wondering what teacher he has, I'll tell you right now he's got Mr. Canvas. I didn't send him to school as much as possible this time. I think I only sent him to school ten times one day and not at all the next day. Both Sarah and Cody have full discipline bars.

Cody's now on pause because now I'm waiting for Sarah to evolve. I want Cody and Sarah to mate. It'll be interesting to find out when Cody goes to bed when I unpause him.

I've left you in the dark. Again.

Sarah grew up into a Mimitchi yesterday. Today she married Cody. Looks like Sarah doesn't care how healthy her husband is. (You see, I've pounded my v4 with my fist a lot, dropped it on purpose and thrown it about and my v4's horrible antenna is a bit broken. Also he's kinda dying.)

Cody's in front of me, dying. (Good riddance to him.) Though I won't let him die completely. If he does start dying I've got a sharp pencil in front of me.

Oh yeah and Cody got a job. At the restraunt. I almost lost my temper when he got the horrible restraunt job.

Oh well, he's never going to see the restraunt anyway.

Not much really happened Tamagotchi-related today (seeing as today's just started).

I discovered a new way to show my Tamagotchi's status screens etc. I'm still pixelling my Tamagotchi (though it's extremely hard to do when they're moving).

Anyway, I'll show you the screens I've done.

The first one is of the Hunger/Happiness (Onaka/Gokigen) screen on a Japanese Tamagotchi Plus. (I don't actually have a Tamagotchi Plus, I pixelled it by looking at a picture of the Entama instruction booklet on the Internet.)



Next, here's my sweet little Mimitchi on my v1 (betcha you're all pleased to know I like Mimitchi now).



Now here is a picture you won't like to see. Here's my suffering Zukyutchi on my v4.

Today I'm looking after Sarah and Cody's children, who are called Daiya and Toru. Daiya is on my v1 and he is a Marutchi. Toru is on my v4 and he is a Mizutamatchi.

I find that Mizutamatchi only seem to evolve into the Meme family. Therefore I will never send Toru to preschool or school and play nothing but Jumping Rope just to get something random.

It feels kind of strange that at this rate it should only take two more marriages (so approx. 2 and a half weeks) until I reach 99th Generation. Note that is a should. I might forget to pause/put to sleep or something or my Tamagotchi might break.

When Daiya evolved into a Marutchi from a Bebitchi, he beeped for discipline. I pressed the A button to choose "Punish" and, being me, I pressed the B button as soon as I pressed A. Unfortunately the Tamagotchi thought I pressed the A button twice so I accidentally praised it. So I took out my frustration on my v4, as usual.

I might have missed out some other disciplines as we went to my cousin's new school so I turned off the sound. But a good thing, I worked out how useful long games are on a forty minute drive.
