Yet another day in which my Tamagotchi has been asleep for a while. Especially since I also have dancing lessons.
My v4 got a job today, as a doctor. I really don't know how Bandai expects me to play the games and win when I struggle to hold my Tamagotchi. I'm right handed, but since my v1's keychain was on the right hand side I got accustomed to using my left hand and that's why I don't like the antenna on later versions. Famitama's padlock and key looks like a real nightmare.
In any case not much happened with my Tamagotchi. They're asleep now, they went to sleep about ten minutes ago. So here are the statistics for today:
My v1
Training- 8/9
Age- 6yr
Weight- 30g
Name- Polo
Gender- Boy
Generation- 94th
Species- Mimitchi
My v4
Training- 5/9
Intelligence- 146
Style- 11
Kindness- 2
Age- 5yr
Weight- 30lb
Name- Mel
Gender- Boy
Generation- 25th
Gotchi Points- 99 999p
Species- Pyonchitchi
I'll try and summon the matchmaker tomorrow after school. Hopefully it works.

I'm going to try and summon the matchmaker now and see what happens. To do this I set the time to 6.59pm and wait a minute.
It worked! My Mimitchi, Polo, got greeted with a Hanatchi and my Pyonchitchi, Mel, got greeted with a Mimitchi. They both got boy babies.
Well, I better set the time to the right time before I forget. Once I did forget and I woke up to see a nearly-dead Mimitchi on my v1. Gave me a fright.
Oh, Mel's lost a hungry heart. I think I'll feed him sushi for a change.
And here are the stats for today. In case you're wondering, I post them so you (and me) can see how my Tamagotchi's skill points and stuff are developing.
My v1
Training- 8/9
Age- 7yr
Weight- 30g
Name- Polo
Gender- Boy
Generation- 94th
Species- Mimitchi
My v4
Training- 5/9
Intelligence- 154
Style- 11
Kindness- 3
Age- 5yr
Weight- 31lb
Name- Mel
Gender- Boy
Generation- 25th

Wow, it must have taken forever to get all those gotchi points!
Loving the logs. I can definitely relate to waking up to a nearly done tama XD

Sorry for not posting yesterday, but then again there wasn't much TO post...
All that really happened yesterday is that the babies got sick (so I cured them). Oh, I also need to say that Polo and Mel departed Earth to go back to the Tamagotchi World last night. So now I'm raising a Tamagotchi named Kinai on my v1 and a Tamagotchi named Hiko on my v4.
Some people would say that Tamagotchi babies are hard to care for, but I don't think so. Then again I have never cared for an original Tamagotchi (I've heard those are much more needy). The most needy baby I've ever cared for is a Digimon.
Anyway I woke up at about 8.05am today (I can be as slack as I like, it's the Summer holidays now... it's Summer because I live in Australia). Both my Tamagotchi had woken up and were crying, so I named them. I didn't really know what to call them, so I just slapped together some nonsense syllables to make Kinai and Hiko. Whenever either one of them dropped a heart I would feed it (sometimes feeding it an extra meal or an extra snack) then playing a game with it.
Later they evolved into Kinakomotchi and Puchitchi. Yay! My first child that's NOT Mizutamatchi since the 18th Generation!
Finally, here's the stats for today.
My v1
Training- 2/9
Age- 0yr
Weight- 10g
Name- Kinai
Gender- Boy
Generation- 95th
Species- Kinakomotchi
My v4
Training- 1/9
Intelligence- 34
Style- 10
Kindness- 25
Age- 0yr
Weight- 10lb
Name- Hiko
Gender- Boy
Generation- 26th
Gotchi Points- 99 999p
Species- Puchitchi
Yep, I still have 99 999p, despite buying an item while my Tamagotchi was a baby.
While I was typing that Kinai dropped a hungry heart. I better feed him. I'll feed him two foods then play a game of Dance. He moved right, then jumped, then moved left so I pressed C, then B, then A and left him to dance on his own.
So that's all... no, it isn't.
I'm going to send my Tamagotchi to preschool 10 times and look at its stats change.
Beginning stats: 34/10/25

I had my Tamagotchi on pause for about seven hours yesterday because I was performing at a dancing concert at the Burswood theatre (one of the bigger theatres where I live). I didn't take my Tamagotchi because the parking's outdoors (well where we parked anyway) and on the weather channel they said it's going to rain. (By the way, it did rain. Aren't I glad we aren't at the Octagon theatre this year! Because there's so many people at the dance school I go to, half of us had to wait outdoors at the Octagon theatre.)
I got home at about midnight and went to bed at about 12.25am. I managed to wake up at about 9am this morning.
I sent Hiko to preschool ten times. Here's the stat gain information for you.
Beginning stats: 49/39/28
1st visit: 49/40/28 (+0/+1/+0)
2nd visit: 49/41/28 (+0/+1/+0)
3rd visit: 49/42/28 (+0/+1/+0)
4th visit: 49/43/28 (+0/+1/+0)
5th visit: 49/44/28 (+0/+1/+0)
6th visit: 49/45/28 (+0/+1/+0)
7th visit: 49/46/28 (+0/+1/+0)
8th visit: 49/47/28 (+0/+1/+0)
9th visit: 49/48/28 (+0/+1/+0)
Final visit: 49/49/28 (+0/+1/+0)
Total stat gain: +0/+10/+0
I seem to find that the style points are a bit too common, just a bit...
(Note the sarcasm.)
Hiko dropped a hunger heart, so I fed it bread and an orange, then played a game of Jumping Rope.
When Hiko was jumping over the rope for the 23rd time (the way I remember is this- 23 is my
un
lucky number) I noticed the attention icon became lit. At the end of the game I noticed Hiko was crying so I praised him.
You might want to know how Kinai is. Well I will assure you that he's fine.
Here's my Tamagotchi's stats for now. Kinai and Hiko will probably evolve later today.
My v1
Training- 5/9
Age- 0yr
Weight- 10g
Name- Kinai
Gender- Boy
Generation- 95th
Species- Kinakomotchi
My v4

Kindness- 36
Age- 0yr
Weight- 10lb
Name- Hiko
Gender- Boy
Generation- 26th
Gotchi Points- 99 999p
Species- Puchitchi
Last of all I will tell you about the dance concert last night, for all interested.
The backstage doors were supposed to open at 5.30pm, though they opened at about 5.40pm. Meanwhile there was a massive queue to go into the back stage area and the change rooms. When the backstage doors finally opened, the headmaster of the dance school told all the parents that they have to be dressing more than one child (two or more, obviously) to go in, unless that one child is nine years old or younger. Then another teacher told my mum that she has to be dressing at least three people! Fortunately my mum was dressing three people that night.
We went through the door saying "Entertainment Administration" then through a corridor with changerooms leading off it. The corridor led to the backstage area. Then we went through a dark corridor (which is part of the backstage area) to the main backstage. We walked through the main backstage area to get out of backstage and into another corridor with changerooms leading off it. We were in the female chorus so we had five toilets and five showers. At the Octagon theatre, because we were so squished some grades had to go in warehouses instead of changerooms. There was one toilet between one big warehouse and two small warehouses.
Anyway we just put our stuff down (we took someone else's spot because someone took our spot!) and went back outside. My parents, my sister, my cousin and I went to eat at this food place called Sirocco.
They really need to make the signs less ambiguous at Sirocco. I was looking for the toilet and there was a sign pointing up and right. But look in that direction and you see the doors leading outside! So you just continue forward and you see another toilet sign leading straight forward, but if you did go straight forward it'll lead you outside. Turn left and you'll see the male toilets and a sign saying that the female toilets are straight forward. But straight forward are the male toilets! The female toilets are actually straight ahead (so you stand outside the male toilets door) and then to the left.
My sister and my cousin had this pasta dish and my parents and I had fish. After we had finished dinner we went back to the female chorus and I changed into my costume for my first dance which is a tap dance called "Show Off." The costume is pink with lots of tassels, sequins and beads. I also put on my make-up and my tap shoes.
I walked across the female chorus (well actually, I walked out the door because we're next to the door, then walked down the corridor, then went into the other door to the other side of the female chorus to escape the crowds) to see my friend. She had a programme and we noticed that the programme makers missed out the acrobatics dance in the programme (whoops!).
We were just chatting together. Then they called for Name in Lights (a tap dance that one of the younger grades is doing) and Show Off (the tap dance that my grade and the grade below is doing). So we sat in the corridor in two straight lines. One line for everyone doing Name in Lights and another line for everyone doing Show Off. Since Name in Lights is done by the younger grades, Primary and Grade 5, we had to play a baby game where one of the parents calls out a number (say, 30) and if your birthday is that day of the month (e.g. 30th January, 30th February, 30th March etc.) then you have to stand up.
The Primaries and Grade 5s then went backstage. Shortly after that we went backstage as well and just sat there in a little group. The teachers commented on how quiet we were and how we're the best group so far. This is a pleasant surprise, seeing as we're always being told that we're the noisiest group. Later we went to the other side of the stage (staying backstage of course) and waited for the senior ballet dance to finish. After that we ran on stage.
The lights came on bright enough for the audience to see us, just not totally bright. They turned on the music for Name in Lights so we just had to stand there. Then they turned on the music for the senior ballet so I just started giggling so somebody hissed at me, "Don't laugh!" Finally they turned on the music for Show Off and turned on the spotlight.
We did our dance and then went off stage. I took off my costume for Show Off because I didn't want the tassels caught on anything. I decided that since I'm taking off my costume I might as well put my costume for Mickey (the jazz dance that the Primaries, Grade 5s, Prep 4s and Grade 4s are in- I'm in Grade 4, the grades go backwards for theatrical grades believe it or not). Mickey is the fifth dance in the second half so my friend and I were doing nothing but talking and doing scoobies (those plastic string thingies). I also had to take off my earrings because there aren't any earrings for Mickey, seeing as many people in the younger grades don't have their ears pierced.
When we had to go backstage for Mickey, we just waited there, but not as quietly as before. The dance just before us used the curtain, so we could just line up behind the curtain and run forward when it went completely back. Well, I didn't have to run forward because I was standing on the box (actually it's not a box, it's an elevated piece of wood). When it was completely black the curtain was raised and everyone (except for those on the "box") ran forward to their beginning positions. At the beginning four of the best dancers in Prep 4 and Grade 4 and the two boys in our dance did something at the front while we were doing simple actions and yelling "Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey! Hey Mickey!" Later the Prep 4s and Grade 4s ran offstage while the Primaries and Grade 5s did the special part of their dance. We lined up to go back on stage. When the Primaries and Grade 5s had done their special part, we ran onstage and did our special part of the dance while the Primaries and Grade 5s sat on the edges shaking pom-poms. Soon the dance was over and I changed into my costume for If I Had My Way (the neo ballet dance that the Grade 4 and Grade 5 ballet dancers are in). I had to put my earrings back in and a different head piece in.
Not too long after I did If I Had My Way. When we ran onstage we had to look out for the portable barre that was being moved back. There was this really cool disco ball lighting effect in this dance though I wasn't allowed to concentrate on that.
After that I ran offstage and quickly changed into the costume for Show Off (because it was being used for the finale) at the side of the stage. The teacher told us that we're not allowed to do our quick change behind the stage because they're doing a silhouette there and we wouldn't like the audience to see us changing. (When she was tellling us that we were pretending to dress and undress ourselves.) Apparently some people lining up for the finale were covering their eyes because there were many people doing quick changes around them. However I had an odd feeling that people were watching me change. Seriously, what's so fascinating about people changing?
Shortly after the finale started. First the seniors went on and danced. Then the Prep 1s and Grade 1s went on and did their part of the finale. Next the Grade 2s and 3s went on and did their part of the finale. Then (I'm sure you're already getting tired of this now) the Prep 4s and Grade 4s (my grade) went on and started dancing. The music for the finale was a collection of songs by the Beatles.
After we did our part of the finale everybody on stage did a part of the finale together, then the Grade 5s, Primaries and people who only do one dance (other than pre-schoolers) came on and started their bit while we were dancing in the background. Next the Tinies As and Bs came on and did their bit (while we were dancing in the background). Finally the pre-schoolers came on and the whole school did the end part of the finale together.
Actually, before we did the end part of the finale, some of the best dancers went to the front of the stage and did some acrobatics. Unfortunately one of the best dancers (who wins heaps and heaps of awards for her dancing) didn't manage to do her backflip properly. She landed on her head so a boy had to pull her offstage and then the adults backstage had to call the paramedics.
When the concert was over and we went back to the foyer we saw a stretcher prepared for a woman who had just fallen down the stairs. She was looked after by more paramedics and then taken to an ambulance.
So many accidents... though it was a great night.

Big news today!
Yesterday Hiko evolved into a Yangu Robotchi. Wow, I must be psychic! I had that feeling that Hiko was going to evolve into a Mame character!
This is my first male Mame character, so my very, very first chance to get Tensaitchi! Woo-hoo! While I was waiting for the [ ! ] mail to enrol Hiko into the Tamagotchi School I fed Hiko a few snacks and played many games of Shape. (At least Shape's an easy game. I went through absolute torture getting Makiko and Nonbiritchi.) I picked Mr. Turtlepedia as my teacher, of course, and kept going to school until I couldn't get any more skill points from it. I also bought a few stat-raising foods from the shop to stimulate my Tamagotchi even more.
Not too long after Hiko evolved into Yangu Robotchi yesterday, Kinai evolved into an Ichigotchi. One of my favourite characters!
And last but definitely not least, the stats for this morning.

I had much to write about yesterday and the day before... but nothing to write about today.
All I can say is that both Hiko and Kinai have full training bars and Hiko's got a ton of skill points (well a lot more than yesterday anyway).
So here are the stats, just so you can see how much they've grown.
My v1
Training- 9/9
Age- 2yr
Weight- 20g
Name- Kinai
Gender- Boy
Generation- 95th
Species- Ichigotchi
My v4
Training- 9/9
Intelligence- 313
Style- 65
Kindness- 52
Age- 2yr
Weight- 20lb

I think Hiko will evolve later today, hopefully into a Mametchi.

BIG NEWS!!!
Yesterday I got Tensaitchi on my v4!
For all interested here is a password for Tamatown that you can all use.
Username: KEIRI

Kinai is still an Ichigotchi but he's going to evolve quite soon, in about an hour I'd say. I'm leaving Hiko on pause until Kinai evolves into an adult.
Today we went shopping and I saw the v4.5 in Australia for the first time. First time I saw it was around someone's neck, second time I saw it was in the PC pack. It's got the beaded strap with stars instead of rounded beads. I didn't see any other Tamagotchi in the store I looked in and also I've heard others say the Australian v4.5 is
only
sold in a PC pack in some places. It costs $50 Australian dollars though and that is including the discount. I wouldn't mind having the PC pack, just I don't want the v4.5 that comes with it.
For all interested the Tamagotchi v4.5 PC Pack was located in an aisle (well, at the end of the aisle anyway) that I believe had action figures, keychains and stuff. Across the aisle from the v4.5 there was a battling virtual pet thing (not Digimon though, probably by some other company).
Near the v4.5 PC Pack there was a "Tamagotchi Tsunagete Mascot." Only one, unforunately. It's a keychain thing that costs 20c (Australian money). I bought it and here is a scan of it:
There are three charms that comes with it, plus one secret one. In my case the secret one was the Obaketchi (well it looks like an Obaketchi to me anyway).
Here's the packaging (with the charms taken out):
And here are my Tamagotchi's stats.
My v1
Training- 9/9
Age- 3yr
Weight- 20g
Name- Kinai
Gender- Boy
Generation- 95th
Species- Ichigotchi
My v4
Training- 9/9
Intelligence- 355
Style- 65
Kindness- 52
Age- 2yr
Weight- 30lb
Name- Hiko
Gender- Boy
Generation- 26th
Gotchi Points- 99 999p
Species- Tensaitchi
Oh and you know about how there were some injuries during my dance concert? I found out that there was actually a third injury. A man either thought he had a heart attack or had a heart attack. So there were actually three ambulances that were called- the girl who first needed the ambulance got the third ambulance!
EDIT: My v1 just evolved, into Mametchi! So now I can unpause my v4 and run both together.

Two whole days and nothing has happened.
Alright, alright. Something has happened. My v4 got a job as a banker.
My v1
Training- 9/9
Age- 6yr
Weight- 33g
Name- Kinai
Gender- Boy
Generation- 95th
Species- Mametchi
My v4
Training- 9/9
Intelligence- 391
Style- 65
Kindness- 52
Age- 5yr
Weight- 35lb
Name- Hiko
Gender- Boy
Generation- 26th
Gotchi Points- 99 999p

At first when I saw Tensaitchi I didn't think he was that cute. Now I think he is. The problem with Tensaitchi is that his facial expression doesn't seem to change too much when he's happy.
