i didnt really feel like this belonged in the General DIscussion because its really just a comment by me. so please dont smite me Sad

my brother has a neon green tama '97. he raised it to a maskutchi (i know its not that name its the one with the mask and the two little legs ... but NOT maskutchi from connection) and anyways I am the one who keeps him in my desk drawer. everytime i check on him he is STARVING and COMPLETELY depressed. lol ive seen the poor little guy like this about 6 times now. im just really surprised that he could endure all this! tama connections die after about 2 times of this. its really cool i think that they can endure such terrible circumstances.

(i felt so bad for this little guy that i told my brother id pay 10 bucks for him....and he accepted! so now he's mine. good, ill take good care of him.)

Good stuff there Pianoman. It's not cool to let them starve like that. Like I know they are electronic pets but it's weird...people like us who are virtual pet enthusiasts get this guilt when we accidently or purposely neglect our guys to get characters or results we want. I had this horrid tinge of guilt this afternoon. I was so wound up and stressed about school I neglected all my guys a bit Tongue So I had to put them on pause until I was okay.

Anyway glad you're gonna take care of the tama now.

I hate neglecting my little Tamas. Last year when I was not able to bring my Tamas to school with me I always had to pause them. One morning I forgot to pause my little Ginjirotchi before I went out the door. When I came home at lunch time he was completely empty on everything and sick. I was so sad but managed to keep him alive. Thankfully nothing like that has happened since and this year I don't need to leave them home on pause!! Smiley

I will say that gen1 and gen2 tama's can take a lot of abuse (not that i do this... i hate people who abuse them), once i left for the weekend and thought i had one of my gen1 tama's with me to find he wasn't. When i got home 2 days later he was sick, hungry and unhappy but alive, i quickly cured him, fed him and played with him to get him happy.
