In the Wikipedia article about Tamagotchi releases there is short note of Bandai planning to release new Tamagotchi in the 1st month of 2007.

Bandai Japan has already kept a (web based?) voting for the color designs in the first release.

More news about this new Tama once they pop up.

This Japan, heehee. They always have new Tamagotchis it seems nearly impossible to keep up with them all! Shocked Shocked

I wonder what it is. :S

So you think it was talking about the Tama School thing and the dates are wrong? Or is it even another? I can't even keep up with what I'm missing anymore, there's just so many.

Tama School was in the list, announced to be released in Japan Nov 23th 2006 as it did.

I think this "2007" Tama is going to be something new. Perhaps with color screen or some voice recognition features. Bandai's definetly trying to improve Tamas into "next level" now as year 2007 is 3rd after releasing Tama Plus and 10th anniversary for Tamagotchi.

Perhaps I need to make topic about all the Tamas released in Japan after Keitai so ppl don't need to be confused; "What's Uratama? Kakeibo?"

Western Connection/Connexion versions usually base in Japanese ones, and V4 is mostly english version of Cho Jinsei Enjoy Tamagotchi aka. Entama which was released in 2005, so this Tama coming in Japan January is brand new model.

There's couple of Tamas lately released in Japan which features haven't been seen in Connections/Connexions yet either.
