I just installed Tamagotchi CD and... oh... my... goodness. It is so cute. I don't even know what to do. It is making me make cutesy noises and wave my arms, because it is so cute. Everything about it is cute. Even the installation sequence was cute! Bandai did an amazing job with this little piece of software. I am obviously overwhelmed.

It's the sound effects that make the game. All the music is instrumental, with cute little plucked violins or something like that. Totally adorable. And my little Babytchi, who is bouncing around on my screen (I named him Arthur), he makes the most frigging adorable little baby noises, aaagh! I was making involuntary utterances. I even called him "kitty", which just illustrates how totally moved I am by his cuteness (I love cats even more than I love tamas, believe it or not). Oh my goodness, the animation just changed, the cuteness... I can't handle it... but I can't look away...

My heart has been stolen by this little game. I did not expect it to be this charming. Eep!

Ohh... I am... exhausted...

They should make 2000's version of Tama CD, with internet multiplay features and possibilities to update the software with new characters.

How about USB device that has IR eye that lets you transform data from your V Tama to the software and back. Like DekaTama for western ppl.

The software is soooo worth getting. So it only has P1 and P2 characters in it, but if you love those characters you will fall in love with this CD. Smiley

AIGH! I just restarted my computer for the first time (yes, I'm one of those energy guzzlers who leaves her computer on all night) and my Tamagotchi didn't save! What happened? What did I do wrong? How was I supposed to shut down the program? It asked me if I wanted to put him in the care centre, I said yes, I closed the window, I shut down, started up again, opened Tamagotchi - and it's an egg! Someone please tell me what I'm missing!

Hmmm.... I heard from another friend sometime back that in works properly in Windows 98 but in later versions it doesn't work so well. They had the same problem of it not saving the characters and it restarting completely every time they restart the computer. Forgive me for forgetting the name of whom mentioned this to me, it might have been Jiro or Dancinkayley.

I'm sorry to hear you have this problem too, I wonder if there's an easy fix out there :/ Maybe write to bandai?
