Thanks TL! That will come in handy next time the matchmaker comes. And I'll be sure to let you know if I see those color combos around ebay or anywhere else.
Thanks Alex! Hehe, you and TL have such great taste in Tamas. Looks like we're gonna have some ebay competition here if any of those Tamas show up in the next little while.
2/27/08: It's been a while. In fact, it's been a whole week! I have but three Tamagotchi actually going right now, and life has been so busy and sometimes a little insane, that I've not been the best caretaker. I feel I've reached an all time low care taking wise.. Either way let me catch you up on what's gone on the past week, and my Tamas.
Well as always school has been busy, so that took up quite a chunk of last week. I think the last time I wrote was the 20th, exactly a week ago.. I had a bunch of things due in for class, but thankfully they were all done ahead of time. The weekend finally came and I was happy to finally be free. I didn't do much over the weekend, I really should have forced myself to write but was being lazy. I only had two active Tamas going on Saturday, so with that I decided to hatch my US Angel Tama. I forgot how fast Angels grow, hehe.
Anyways the next day, Sunday is when things got crazy for me. I had spent much of my time that morning online, and once I had finally stopped lazing around, I decided to go with my parents to see my kittens at the shelter. We were driving along, and I was listening to my music. All of the sudden I hear my Mom scream and the next thing I know the car is spinning and we are landed on the side walk. A man had driven right through a red light and hit us. I couldn't believe what had just happened, and was pretty shook up. My mom was able to get out of the car, and she called the police to come. The other guy wasn't saying much..
I was pretty blank and just stayed where I was in the back of the car. I could hear sirens in the distance and that's when I came to my senses enough to get out of the car. My dad had managed to get out just before me, since he was wedged in the drivers seat. When I got out I realized that I had all of my Tamas, and my cell phone in my pocket. I searched around and made sure they were all there, and they were. The police talked with my parents and I a little, and asked if we were alright. We were in shock at that point so we didn't really feel any pain as such. I hadn't realized that my Mom had also phoned my grandfather, so when he showed up I was surprised, yet very happy. I went and got in his car and got warm.
My parents followed shortly after, and a police man came and asked us a few more questions through the window. He was nice, and assured us that everything would be fine. I was just happy that we were all breathing because man what a hit that was.. The car is totally wrecked from it. We made our way home shortly after that and when we got in, were finally able to relax. That is when I realized that I was in a little bit of pain. My whole side was hurting, as well as my back. My Dad was worst of all of us, and he decided he better get to the hospital since he was having trouble walking. My grandfather took him, and my Mom and I stayed at the house.
Not five minutes after he left, my Mom got after me and told me I had to go over to the janeway to get checked out. I did not want to go, but your never to old to be chased by your mother. She finally convinced me to go, and it just so happened that my aunt was on her way up the driveway, so we didn't have to call a cab. She drove us on over to the janeway, and to funnily enough, the place was empty. I was checked in right away, and was told that I only had minor bruising. I was relieved for that.
My grandfather picked my Mom and I up, and brought us up to his house for dinner. My grandmother was there when I got to the house, and I was happy to see her. Later in the evening we got word from the hospital my Dad was at that he was fine, and also only had minor bruising, the same as me. My mom was told the same thing as well when she went to her doctor the next day. So it turned out well for the three of us.
I've never been involved in a car accident before, and let me tell you, I never want to be again. The man who hit us claims he wasn't paying attention, and thought that he had the green light.. It's excuses like those that make you go hmm... You don't know what kinds of drivers you got out there on the roads! Since Monday I have been very achy, and I have a couple of small bruises, but nothing major. My back is what is most bothersome at the moment. It could have been so much worse though, for all of us, so I am thankful that we are all only achy and not hospitalized!
Anyways, that was my crazy Sunday. Now let me catch you up on my Tamagotchi.
In my last log I believe I had just hatched my clear yellow Japanese P2. I had been hoping to get Pochitchi on that Tama, so that I could try for Nyatchi the cat, but I messed up and got Zukitchi. I was a brick short of getting him. Oh well, next time I'll try again! Zukitchi is 8 years old, with 25% discipline. I don't think I will be getting the secret character on him since I have been a horrible caretaker lately. I don't mean to be, but in school I sometimes don't have a choice because I have work to do.
As for my Tamagotchi Angel, I got the good teen on Sunday evening. I was at the janeway at that point actually.
Either way I ended up treating it horribly because I_did_not want Kuriten because she is always destined to become the Futagotenshi twins. Monday I ended up sleeping most of the day, so it wasn't hard to neglect Angel. I woke up to hear my Angel Tama changing that afternoon and to my happiness I got Ginji Angel! What a nice surprise that was. I love Ginji, and Bandai did a great job at making him into a Tama of the afterlife. His twirling along right next to me as I type this, cute as ever. He is 5 years old, 0 AP with 50% on the deeds meter.
Mimitchi is still very much alive and well also. He is 13 years old and has yet to reach the 12 year old sickness. I have paused a little, but not as much as I have been the past couple of months. I feel cruel doing that, so he has been un-paused with me in school like my other Tamas these days.
Gotta love little Mimitchi! He has been so easy to care for, but I check on him constantly anyway since I'm used to having him around when his demanding.
With that being said, those are my three Tamas that I actually have going right now. I believe I will be hatching more soon. I'm planning on hatching a couple over the weekend or even as early as tomorrow since I have Friday off. I feel so lucky to have all these days off lately, I don't know where they're all coming from, but I love love love days off, so I'm happy!
I think I've mentioned this before, but I have two kittens whom will be coming soon. They are currently with their mother at the Humane Society, since they are only four weeks old. I will be able to take them home in three weeks, and I am so excited. I love cats so much, and since loosing Diddles, my cat of 19 years on January 31st, life has been different. I have a dog Martin, and he misses her as well. I think he will take well to our new additions.
He is so used to living with a cat since he was born. I visit the kittens three times a week, and I have introduced my Tamas to them, hehe! I've thought of working at the Humane Society many a time.. But I think it would be a little upsetting to work there sometimes, since some of the animals who go there are from abusive homes. I don't think the people who run the place want to be responsible for a guy who ran down a bunch of people for mis-treating their animals!
But I feel strongly about these things, and get very angry when I hear of animal abuse. If your mis-treating your cat or dog, you best not come near me.
Oh wow.. This log has been so long. I can't believe I have written this much tonight. My next log will hopefully be more on my Tamas, although I love getting off-topic, I just don't want to come back here next time saying that I got in another car accident, or anything like that. From Mimitchi and my other Tamas, take care and have a good week.

Dennis,
I'm sorry to hear of this misfortune but am so very relieved that no one was seriously hurt! It's unbelievable what that other driver said.. crazy. At least he wasn't a jerk about it, or so I get that impression. Either way, I'm glad that everyone is okay overall. I hope you all heal up and feel better real soon.
How exciting to be getting two baby kittens soon! I'm a cat person too. As well I thought for a short time I would work at an animal shelter or humane society.. but then I came to the same conclusions - that I would end up seeing and hearing horror stories that I would never want to see or hear in my life. There are some awful horrible people out there.
Finally congrats on your Ginji Angel - he is so so very sweet. He's always so relaxing to care for and just looking at him makes me smile. I hope he has the same effect for you - you need some smiles this week *hug*

I'm glad it turned out
pretty

You pretty much freaked me out when I read about it on Myspace!
Just like Mimitchi said herslef, I do, too, hope all of you heal up and feel better soon.
Kitty power! That sounds exciting. Be sure to show us some pictures later, please.

Hope you are feeling better Ginjiman! I hope that guy is going to pay for all the damage he's caused too, since he's the one that caused it. Some people are such knobs >_>;;
Also agree with working at a humane society. I volunteered 2 weeks at one for community service back in the summer before grade 11 or 12 (can't recall which) and let me tell you, it's hard. I grew to know a lot of the cats and seeing some of them being put to sleep was NOT fun. A lot of standing around too which wasn't pleasant
I'm not a fan of that.
Overall you have to have a heart of stone to work there, I learned that the hard way. I missed all those kitty cats and dogs I met there and I'm hoping they all got good homes.
Also congrats on the Ginjiroten I believe it's called (could be wrong, I'm at work right now)

Kat: Thanks so much!
We're all doing much better now. But yes, it was very unbelievable what he said.. Maybe he was just in shock or something, I dunno. Either way, the insurance person will be coming to ask us questions about what exactly happened. Hopefully the guy who hit us will have a better excuse on hand when they come to ask for his side of the story.
I think it's nice you thought of working in a humane society. It goes to show you like animals! I'm all for helping the animals, but I just would not be able to handle the horrible events that happen in there sometimes..
Hehe, you and I love Ginji so much!
Alex: Sorry I freaked you out! But thanks again for the well wishes.
And I will post pictures as soon as I can. I have a billion of them, haha!
TL: Hehe, I think that guy will have to pay a little... err even more then a little. Clearly he was not looking where he was going.
Hehe, I'm so glad so many people around here love animals as much as I do! ^^ I've grown on quite a few of the cats myself. Some of them have been there since the beginning of when I started visiting there over a month ago. I believe a lot of them will be getting homes soon though, so that's a relief for me.
So many people love Ginji Angel! ^^ Yay for Ginjirotenshi! And yes Ginjiroten is also another name for that character.
3/3/08: It has been yet another while in between logs. This is mostly due to the fact that I've been taking some time away from the computer lately. I spend way to much time online, seriously. My computer is never off, since I leave it on always. This weekend was pretty much spent offline for me, other then the couple of times I logged on to chat with a few people.
I haven't been taking a break from my Tamas, though. No no no. I have five going right now, which means I have *hatched* since I last wrote. Yes.
I only had three going, so on my way to school on Thursday I grabbed my Japanese P2 (white/w blue border and pics) and hatched it on my late way out the door. I raised him into a Tonmarutchi by midmorning and then he settled down. He has since become a Tongaritchi and was sick today, so he shall change tomorrow. Hopefully he will become Zukitchi so that I can try for Sekrotchi the series one secret character! I want to get him so much.
Then on Friday after my day off I decided to hatch my Japanese Angelgotchi. I took bad care of him for his first 24 hours alive, and then got the bad teen of Takoten. After I got him I took excellent care, and kept it's TP as close to 60 as possible. I was determined to get Pukuten whom I've had before, but I believe I accidentally let him die young.. Back in July sometime. Luck must have been on my side this time because yesterday while eating at my grandparents, I took my Angelgotch out to see it had become Pukuten.
I hear that he can become the lucky sparkling poop, which I would love to get! Hopefully if luck stays on my side he will in the next couple of days.
With little Pukuten on my Japanese Angel, I also have Ginjirotenshi on my US Angel Tama. He is still around at 10 years old, rather demanding, but I don't mind. I hope he stays a few more days at least before he has to depart on me. Angels die so young, to young really.. Yet there are others who stay forever like the Futagotenshi twins. To bad Bandai didn't balance the age thing out a little more, hehe. Either way little Ginji Angel is just twirling about like always, quiet and content for the moment.
Zukitchi on my other Japanese P2 (clear yellow) is becoming rather on the demanding side as well. I blew my chances at getting the secret character big time in school last week. I should really learn to pause when I know I wont be able to catch discipline calls.. That's something I have hard time bringing myself to do, since I hate pausing and never do it. I may have to do it with select Tamas in the future I guess.. Zukitchi is 13 years old and a little overweight due to school today, hehe.
And last but not least we have Mimitchi, my little buddy.
He is doing just great and was only just yesterday sick for the first time. Only being in the early stages of being needy, he still has lots of time left. Yesterday I was at my grandparents house for dinner, and when I took Mimitchi out to feed him, my cousin asked if that was the Tamagotchi I first bought. She hadn't seen me in a while, and couldn't beleive I still had him.
I guess it has been a long time now. I bought that Tama in July of 2006, with a long line of many Tamas that followed after him! I'm so proud my collection, I never thought I'd collect this many. I have 57 Tamagotch in total, and I beleive I shall make it an even 60 in the future. I can't beleive this huge trio began with just one!
I'll be keeping Mimitchi up past his bedtime tonight since I paused him a little today. Not to late though because I have to be up early for school tomorrow, and when it comes to school days, I am not a morning person at all. I actually wake most of my Tamas up early on school days when I get up, and give back the time through pausing during the day when I'm busy. It's a good system for me, and it's worked well for well over a year now.
Either way I think that I've talked enough for tonight. I'm taking good care of Pukuten on my Japanese Angel and hoping that I'll get the lucky poop, and of course Ginji Angel is needy so he needs lots of care as well. I must be crazy caring for two Angels at once, since they get needy so young! But I looked at my list of Tamas, and it had been a while, so I'm gonna concentrate on them for a while. Until next time...

3/9/08: It's been quite a while since I made an update to my logs in the way of Tamagotchi Connection. I got into a battery problem, and couldn't find any around where I live, so I have bought a pack of forty off Ebay and they will be here in a week. I did however get lucky and found one new one lying around, and put it in my Tama Plus. Meepo left her baby girl and I am now on generation 3 with that Tama. I'll get to that later in the log, though.
I ran into battery problems with my V2 as well, so I wont be able to raise Nikki until I get my batteries. I raised her to become a teen, Young Mametchi. Thankfully I'll be able to download her back when I put the new battery in!
This afternoon I was getting that ever familiar itch when it comes to my Tamas. Every now and again I have the urge to hatch a new (to me) Tamagotchi that I've not raised yet. It pulled at me for a while, and after thinking it over, I decided it was time to hatch my one and only Tamagotchi Connection V3.
At 4:37pm I pulled the tab and set the time. I set the date, time, my birthday, and then came to a new screen I've never seen before. It said "username", and so I typed in "DEN". The username function is for when I bring my character on over to TamaTown, which I'm really looking forward to. After I did all of that, I was brought back to the screen, and my little egg bounced up and down.
After only two minutes I heard a little tune, and my egg hatched. I was so happy to see that I had gotten a boy! It was refreshing after all the girls I've been getting lately, hehe. ^^ I named him Jack, and then the Babitchi of Teletchi appeared on the screen. He was a very cute little guy. I quickly filled him up with some sushi and bread, and then selected the game icon. There was only one game available in this stage. It's called "Get", and the main idea is to catch the falling notes scrolling with the A and B buttons. Little poops also fall, but you have to avoid catching those or else you loose, and if you miss catching a note, you loose as well. I found it really hard at first, but after playing for a while I got the hang of it.
I kept a tally of events that went on, and they are as follows. He pooped at 4:44, 4:58 and 5:21. He got sick at 4:45 and needed two doses of medicine to get him better again. He went to sleep at 5:09, and shortly after woke up. He needed praise shortly after that, as I found him crying on the screen. That added one training bar to the discipline meter.
I played the game with him a little more for the next little while. I want to note that like V2, you also earn amounts of points at the end of playing the game, which go towards buying items. I think that's a rather cool feature.
At 5:40 I heard a little tune play, and Jack began to change. When the screen cleared, I saw familiar face. It was Mizutamatchi from Osutchi & Mesutchi! What a surprise it was to see him. I love that guy! Below you can see a picture of him.
After changing into a Mizutamatchi he calmed down a little. He needed much less attention then before. Once he changed there was a second game option, which was called bump. I attempted to play it once, but lost. I'll have to read the instructions more closely. I enjoy Get a lot more, and played it lots with Jack for the rest of the night. Before falling asleep at 8pm I got his points up to 565! He fell asleep with full hearts, so I consider this a good end to my first day with him.
Now what about Meepo might you ask? Well, as I said when I began this log, she left her baby not to long ago. I ended up with another girl, hehe! I named her Molly. As a toddler she was a Kinakomotchi, and very easy to care for. I ended up pausing for quite a while, and only today did she change into the teen stage. I awoke to hear her changing this morning, and she became the good teen, Itchigotchi.
I had her going all day today. She called for praise twice today, and needed to be disciplined once. The training meter has 6 bars on it. I've been taking average care of Molly, since I'm hoping for something that I haven't gotten yet. I'll be happy with anything, as long as it's someone new!
I also want to note that Emma is still on pause on my Orange V1 Connection. I shall take her off pause in the near future. I will also resume raising Nikki on my V2 like I said above, once my batteries arrive.
But with that, I depart. I will have more updates on my Tamagotchi Connection very soon. Oh yes, and I want to note that I have three other Tamas going. Mimitchi, Angel twins on Japanese Angelgotch, and Zukitchi on Japanese P2. I shall have more on them next log. Until next time...

3/12/08: I had meant to write sooner, but somehow got busy with school. I kept notes on the past couple of days and what happened. This log will be about what's gone on with my two little ones this week.
Much has gone on with Jack. On Monday morning he was up and ready to go at 8am! An early riser he is. As I was getting ready to leave for school, he called for a discipline. That brought the meter up to two lines. He was very good throughout the day in school. That day I only paused him for an hour and a half total.
As a Mizutamatchi, Jack was a very silly little guy. His actions were very cute, and one thing he loved to do was roll around the screen. I can recall several times when I would peer down at him and see him rolling around. ^^ He was so cute! At lunch time on Monday he needed to be praised and then he was good for the remainder of the afternoon in school. A little while after getting home, he needed a second discipline. By this time the meter had reached three bars.
Around mid evening I could hear a changing tune, and I knew it was Jack changing. When the screen cleared he had become a Batabatchi! Another character from Osutchi & Mesutchi. I love that Bandai brought back all these characters. Brings back the old charm from the original Tamagotchi. Below you can see his picture, he is very cute.
As a teen he has been just as easy to care for. I have really gotten the hang of the Get game, and since changing he has a variety of other games that he can play. There is a flag game, where you correspond the left and right buttons with the flags showing. A game called Heading where you move around the screen bouncing a ball. Memory I have yet to get the hang of, haven't played it enough. And last is the Sprint game, where you press any button continuously to help your Tamagotchi race to the finish line!
They are all very fun, and when you fully win, you get a lot of points!!
The past two days I haven't been able to keep a total tally of times when he called for discipline/praise. But as of now the discipline meter is at 7 bars, with only two left to fill. Jack is 2 years old tonight, to be 3 tomorrow. His first day didn't count as a year. I have not taken to him to Tama-Town yet, but I will soon. I look forward to seeing what my adult will be!
Today was also an eventful day for Molly on my Tamagotchi Plus! The past two days she has been getting sick often, so I knew she would change today. On average I was able to keep her hearts full, sometimes letting them slip down to two empty on each. It's hard to play the Jump game with her in school sometimes, so I often pop a snack for her, and work the weight off later. I do the same thing with Jack sometimes as well.
This morning I thought that Molly might change, but she didn't. When I got home at lunch time for break, I noticed her with the attention light on, so I scolded her. It was weird because the discipline meter was already full.. I wonder if that discipline even mattered or not?
Finally, when I wasn't expecting.. It happened. In fact since the sound was off on my Tamas (since I had to go back to school soon) I didn't hear the changing tune. Then I looked down at her and saw that she had become a character I had never seen before. I got the character of Hanatchi! And it is such a cute little thing, reminds me of a little worm or something. I took a picture of her right away! That's her belowt, isn't she cute.
I'm very taken with her, I must say.
This afternoon when I arrived home I decided to connect the two a couple of times. At first they both left the screen and had a balloon popping contest. Molly won (I guess since she's older). Then I connected them a second time, and Molly went over to Jack's screen and gave him a gift. She gave him a little heart and they were both very happy with one another. Maybe someday soon they will marry...!
I was doing some work late this afternoon and looked down to see Molly singing! It was very cute, so I took a picture right before she stopped. I shall end this log here, and leave you with little Molly singing away... ^__^

Such a pretty Plus design, I'm jealous o.o
The V1s I had were part of the first batch, the ones that ate up batteries and were defective
I need to get my hands on a Plus.

I got that Plus for really cheap from Japan deals.
I've heard of that problem so much with the V1s. I don't think we had that problem over here in Canada with our V1s when they first came out.
You shouldn't have any trouble finding yourself a Tamagotchi Plus somewhere.
Just check ebay!
