Ok, so I am kinda new to this whole music star tamagotchi.  I've noticed it has more things and it is much more complicated. Also, there r no instructions whatsoever to have a 100% in band practice or how do u even play it right.  I have a 2 yr old mametchi, it is my first character and it passed the teen years ok and right now he has his own adult band.  Much too late I noticed there is a way for the band to end up practice happily, many people have explained how to band practice perfectly during the teenage years.  Everytime a note appears on top of any of the tamagotchi band member' s head u need to click the right button as to their position... But when they r practicing as adult band I just see a small arrow and a whole bunch of little black lines flowing on top of their heads.  First of all I only see two of the band members and one of them is to the left and with the two remaining I noticed that at times when I pressed the b button, exactly when there was a a black bold line on top of the arrow, the line disappeared... But sometimes the lines r on top or u have two lines, one on top of the other...and I don't know how to eliminate all of them, and I know that is a key fact to get better at practice... If anyone knows how to play that band practice game or knows a video site that shows it, please let me know...

Are you familiar with games like Guitar Hero or Dance Dance Revolution? The band practice, or Studio Game, on Music Star is similar to that. You have to wait until each of the individual black boxes reaches the center of the arrow (get it as close as you can), then press the correct button to clear it. If I remember correctly, the top row boxes correspond with the A button on the Tamagotchi, the middle row does so with the B button, and the bottom row means to press the C button. That may be backwards, but if it is, then you'll soon figure it out (sorry if it is). The game is a bit hard, and if you make too many errors (it doesn't allow you to make many), then you'll fail at it. 

Once you've cleared the song once, you have to clear it again while playing with your other band member. Every time you win the game (after playing it both times), your band releases a new CD, and their ranking on the charts improves (which can be seen from the clock screen). The higher your ranking, the more money your band makes for each concert, and if you're ranked #1 on the charts, you can play a performance and win a trophy.
