Hey all!

Just wanted to let you know of what's been happening as of lately!

I'm back at Uni, just finished the first week. This Semester is looking to be a good one, my units are as follows:

Mechanisms of Disease
Essentials of Pharmacology and Chemotherapy
Life, Death and Meaning (random Philosophy elective for fun  Tongue)

I'm cutting back on shifts at work so I can put more time and effort into the studies. If I fail a unit it essentially signs me up for an extra semester next year and the extra ~$3500 in fees. :/

This makes things difficult though as I am currently trying to save up enough money for a trip to Bahrain at the end of the year. But, got about 9 or 10 months to get enough, should be able to make it. My first overseas trip!

Current money status: negative $120  Undecided  See how we go heheh.

I'm getting back into the routine of things now of having my body in the normal hours clock, holidays have ended so I look forward to spending more time on the net, chatting, lurking about on the forums and catching up with you guys (aah, blessed study breaks). ^___^

BTW, Iron Maiden were fantasic! It was one of the biggest indoor crowds I've been in, they played a terrific setlist, everyone was really diggin' the music, it was a very tame yet energetic crowd, much respect. The band was so alive!

We went camping last weekend down the South of Australia. Shall hopefully upload the photos soon and share with you some of the landscape and park reserves that we got to see. Let me just tell you... it was GLORIOUS to be able to use a flushable toilet when we got back, and to have the use of a shower. >___<

Take care, have a great upcoming week!

Ahoy hoy!

Thought I'd make an update, hard to believe I wrote my last entry at the beginning of the year... and now it is almost the end! I finish my degree on the 27th of November.... so close, a month and a half!

But, throughout the year I've accumulated even more little guys to my Tamagotchi collection, including some plush toys my friend gave me the other night. So I thought I'd upload some. ^__^

These two are my two active ones, the one on the right is covered with a little Tamagotchi decorating kit I bought about a month ago, I've only just decorated it today. It seems nice, but the stickers aren't really reliable, I might have to buy some super glue to keep them on, because it does look nice! I got the Ginji pink set. Some of the stickers included are adorable!

My two actives with the plush toys I mentioned. Red Rooster here (take away place) has a special promotion... I might have to stop into the restauraunt one day soon so I can ask to buy them! Apparently there's 5, I only have 2 so far. I think they're adorable.

And the last one: me with my collection.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So yeah, things have been good. Getting ready for next year, deciding what to do, I'm probably going to seek into getting someone to take me on to do Honours for my post-grad study, then eventually getting my PhD sorted and underway. Not ready to get into the working world just yet heheh.

I'm looking forward to the Halloween hatch! I hope I can make it, shall be fun!

Hi everyone. Smiley

I don't know how many of the old folk are still around, but I am just wanting to write a note of hello. A lot has happened since I last posted here in TSS, and I hope everyone is well!

I wrote last in Oct '08, and here we are in the first few months of 2010! It's quite bizarre how time is just going so fast. I ended up finishing my Biomedical Science degree, and due to that 'random Philosophy unit just for fun' mentioned in my previous post, that one unit has opened me up to a whole different world of study. My lecturer inspired me to take on another degree, so at the end of this year I will have a double major in Biomedical and Philosophy. Smiley Moved houses quite a bit, changed the scene and met some new people. Went to the Middle East late last year and had a great experience.

So here I am, finding myself enjoying having Tamagotchi around once again, I have missed them, and more importantly everyone here. Cheesy

How are things? What's been happening?  Smiley

Good to hear from you TL! Smiley

Thought I would post some pics of my active Tamas. I ordered a nice little something from Jasons store on eBay - a White/Blue Japanese P2. It arrived today, and I was super excited about it! Here's the little one being opened and seen for the first time. Smiley

And here is a close up of the new Tama about to be hatched! I'm taking care of him as a baby right now, I notice he is a lot quieter than my other P2... so at least I'll be able to distinguish between the two when they beep!

This brings my active Tamas to 4 now : 2xJap P2s, 1x V2 and 1x V4.

The V4 is on it's 7th generation, the V2 on its second. I am finding it quite easy to take care of them all, as I am home a lot as I am studying externally this Semester. The fifth one you see in the photo (V1 Black) is actually taken care of by my partner... who grabbed it off my desk and decided to hatch it. ^.^ He usually makes fun of my interests, so it's cool to see that he has taken an interest in this one. Right now his Tama (named TCPIP) is 10 years old. He has taken quite a liking to Mametchi, so we are hoping we are able to raise the character for him next time. Smiley

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!
