Hello everyone! I just joined these forums today! Its funny, I have been looking lurking around on Mimitchi.com for some time now, but I never realized there was a forum!  I'm so happy there is!

Well, I have started today, my first Tama log ever. I haven't started up a Tamagotchi since my 24th birthday in 2008 (when I got a Tamasuku in the mail from a friend in Japan!) My Tamasuku and my other Tamas are currently not in the same state with me atm, as I am preparing for a move to the UK, however to make a long story short, I found a Tamagotchi Connection V3 in a drugstore today, quite by accident! The town I live in a EXTREMELY small and remote, and I have never EVER seen a Tama in any store up here, so I considered this fate! I purchased the dear thing (covered in dust) and excitedly started him in the CAR! xD I took pics when I got home, and I will post them! So without further adieu, here is my first EVAAAR Tama Log!

December 30th, 2009

After pulling the tab furiously out of my V3, I set the appropriate info (12:33pm), waited what only seemed like a minute or so, and greeted a chubby dark baby boy! I named him Mango, after the nice buttery yellow egg in which he lived! I promptly fed Mango a few pieces of bread, some sushi, and a scone. I noticed this Tama had way more food on it than any other Tama I had, so I was a bit iffy as to what I was going to feed him....as much as I want to take PERFECT care of my Tama, my goal is always to get a Kutchipatchi, and that requires a bit of neglect and snack food, although not TOO much! I tried playing his Music Catching game, but after two tries, he wouldn't play anymore, and I was a bit concerned because his Happy Bar was only at one heart! So I caved and fed him some pudding and two apples, and he was full and happy!

When I got home, I immediately jumped online and CRAMMED my brain full of V3 knowledge like I never had before! Mango was not as demanding as I expected him to be at this age...he pooped only about 4 times as a BABY! xD I promptly cleaned up each poop, and he got sick only once and was immediately cared for. At about 4:30pm, Mango turned into a bouncing happy little Tamatchi! Not the Kutchitamatchi that I was hoping for, but Mango's new form is UBER CUTE and I hope I can still get Kutchipatchi even with Tamatchi! Here is a pic of the CUTE LITTLE GUY rolling around in his egg!




Quite a fun day we had really! We played his new Bump game (which was hard for me at first and I felt bad bc Mango kept LOSING but I eventually got the hang of it), he pooped a few more times and I cleaned it up as I saw it...I pretty much watched him like a hawk, but I made sure I fed him a bit of healthy food and then quite a few snacks to keep him healthy...played with him every so often, must mostly used snacks to fill his Happy Hearts...hopefully this will get me a Kutchipatchi!

Day Two of my Tama Log!

December 31, 2009


I woke up this morning to my little Tamatchi rolling around! No poops or anything...just him! He's been surprisingly quiet...almost to the point where I though he may be broken or maybe just not working properly...he pooped a few more times, got hungry so I fed him, but hasn't beeped once! 

My mother got married today, so I was kinda forced to leave Mango alone...not on Pause or anything, but just leave him in my room. Came to check on him once: one empty hungry heart and one poop to clean, no biggie. Left him alone for another hour or so, came back to check on him after excusing myself from the wedding reception and he had evolved into a young Mametchi! Kinda shocked! Still not sure what he will become...he's a Gen 1 so I'm not sure! Kinda sure that Kutchipatchi is an odd Gen adult, so I may get lucky! Cross your fingers for me that Kutchipatchi is what I will get!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!


So my young Mametchi went to bed with the lights on & one uncleaned poop last night...although it hurt to do it to my little one, I'm hoping the slight neglect will produce my Kutchipatchi! Haven't tried any of his new games yet, so I am trying to perfect the "Bump" game...dunno if all the exercise will produce a Kutchipatchi, but I LOVE the games on the V3! So cute! I'm feeding him a few puddings now to plump him up!

Whee! A third day it is! Mango has been such a good Tama! He hasn't really needed a ton of discipline, but when he needs it, I sure do lay down the law! Dunno if this will hinder me getting the character I want, but I don't have the heart to not raise my little man right!

I have been stuffing his cute little face with sushi, apples, and pudding mostly, in hopes that the gluttony will produce Kutchipatchi! Don't worry, we still play plenty of games! We love the Heading game very much! Its so CUTE to watch Mango bunt the ball around with his head! He's GOOD at it too! What a guy! After every game we have a treat!

I've been cleaning up his poop pretty much as soon as he poops it...the only time I didn't was this morning because I woke up late...Mango had already pooped twice...but he takes a bath every night, bless him! Such a good boy!

I think that the V3s are easier to care for...what do you guys think? Is it just me, or are the older Tama versions just a bit more demanding? I kinda miss that! 

I am so glad to have a Tama in my life again! I may just buy a plane ticket back to my home down south JUST to dig out my old Tamas before I move to England!  I'm so obsessed!

January 3, 2010 (morning)

Eeek! I know its a bit early to report, but I had to tell you the cute little things Mango has done already this morning!

First of all, I cleaned up a poop and fed him some breakfast (sushi, cereal, bread, and a tart) and then we played his heading game! We got a top score, and I realized that Mango has accumulated 2100 gotchi points and we haven't spent ANY of them! So we went shopping! I purchased a cuckoo clock, a fishing pole, and a ball for Mango. The cuckoo clock was cute, but didn't do anything except sit around on the screen. I was hoping it would go off on the hour and a little birdie would pop out, but as soon as you press a button, the clock goes away!  Oh well, on to the next item.

The fishing pole was so cool! The first thing Mango caught with his pole was just a tin can, which pissed him off a bit! We played with it again and he caught a HUGE fish that had a Kutchipatchi head on it! Waaaah! I hope that is just a precursor to the future! Mango's eyes got wide when he saw the fish! It was painfully cute! I wish I had my camera handy to take a pic of him, but it went as fast as it came.

The ball was adorable! Mango immediately climbed up on top of the ball and started doing tricks! What a smart boy!

We are going to go online today to Tamatown and see what there is to do there! More later!

Hey guys! Sorry about not completing the post yesterday...so I'll wrap up yesterdays post this morning!

Well, Mango evolved yesterday!! YAAAY! However, I did NOT get my Kutchipatchi...as a matter of fact...I got an adult that looks like a GIRL! I looked her up, since I had never seen her before, and her name is Mimiyoritchi...there is pretty much NO info on Mimiyoritchi, so I do not know what sort of personality this character possesses, but I must admit I'm really disappointed...this character is not very cute..it kinda looks like a deformed Princess Leia...it looks like a PERSON! I was hoping it would at least evolve into a blob or a strawberry or something not...HUMAN. Gah, I'm uber-disappointed. I love Mango, but I think I am going to reset him in a few minutes and try to go for a Mimitchi! I feel bad about it, but I do not like this character!

IT'S A GIRL!



I just hatched a new Tama baby and its a girl! I have named her Anzu which is "Apricot" in Japanese...(Mango...Apricot...I think this will be my running theme!  )

She's so CUTE! I just filled her up on cereal and apples...I'm going to keep the unhealthy snacks to a MINIMUM this time to see what happens...last time I loaded my Tama up with unhealthy snacks in order to get a Kutchipatchi, but it didn't work, so I'm going for the SUPER PARENT this time!

Just played the Get Music game and got a PERFECT SCORE! 150 gotchi points right off the bat! YAY!

So Anzu evolved into a sweet little Mizutamatchi! Been feeding fairly healthy foods...mostly apples and sushi, but with some bread and a tart. No real games yet except for this morning's!

WHEW! Sorry all, its been a while since I've updated my Tama Log! I've been doing tons of RL stuff...and I'm moving to the UK to get married in 3 days! WOOP!

My Tama baby has been on pause for two freaking months..I feel like a pile of crap for doing of it, but better than letting him or her die!

It IS a her, and her name is Buffy...looks like a wrecked the "fruit name" streak, but oh well.

Buffy is now and adorable Nikatchi, and is relatively easy to care for...I've been feeding her a bit of junk food to fill the happy hearts, but been playing tons of games too! She's been a Nikatchi for a few days now, so hopefully she'll be evolving soon...I'm still holding out for a Kutchipatchi...probably won't get it, but I can dream!!

Here's an updated pic of my sweet Tama! We'll be off on a jet plane soon, so I'll be sure to post travel pics!

OH HAI!!! Time for more Tama log!!!

So I woke up yesterday morning and I had noticed that I didn't shut off the light for my Tama...I was doing some last-minute packing, as I am leaving tomorrow morning for the UK, so I wasn't giving my baby my full attention...apparently, she had evolved before going to bed, and it was the strangest duck-looking evolved adult! I looked it up and poured over all the Tama evolution/growth charts that are saved to my harddrive and finally found it's name: MEGATCHI!!!

Looked it up, and found that it it slightly rare! I was like, "O RLY?" to myself....hehehe!

This Tama gets PISSED. OFF. if you don't play with it every half an hour or so. I find that it is demanding (for an adult), but so CUTE. It will approach the screen with its cute little duck face and make googly eyes at me! OH my heart melts!

My Tama and I are off to England tomorrow morning, so the next update will be from my flat in England!

Greetings from sunny rainy England! I love it here so much, and I'm lucky enough to be living in the Lake District, so I am in prime European vacationing lands! I am here with my darling fiancee, and he is just uber-stoked about learning about Tamas! I have a bit of a story to tell regarding the time lapse between posts:

I had quite a tough flight over, I flew from Chattanooga, TN to Atlanta, GA...then to Boston, MA..then to Dublin, Ireland...then to Manchester, England. I had the worse case of jet lag ever, and not only that, but it wasn't until I got to Dublin that I realized I didn't have my Tama with me! All that planning, and I walked out the door with him still sitting patiently in my room. I was so upset with myself! When I arrived safely in the UK and got home to my dear fiancee, I wrote my mother an email asking her if she wouldn't mind tossing my Tama in with the first batch of my belongings which was going to be shipped over in the next few months. It would suck to leave my Tama alone for that long, but that was the reality of the situation...imagine my surprise when 2 days later, I received a package in the mail from my mother...she had OVERNIGHTED my Tama to me!!! I FREAKED OUT!!!!  I almost cried, because my mother is just such an amazing person! She would bend over backwards for anyone, no matter how big or small the situation! I just love her so damn much!!!  !!!

However, regardless of her efforts to get my Tama promptly to me, the battery had died. My fiancee bought me a new one, but we didn't have a screwdriver small enough to fit!  So my Tama again sat on my computer tower for a few days, before I got up the courage to try a knife point to unscrew the tiny screw on the back plate...to my surprise, the screw came loose quite easily and I was able to hatch a brand new girl named Yori!!!

It's a bit late in the day, so Taka was only up for a few minutes before he nodded off to sleep...

No pics this time, as today I am just too darn lazy!! Everyone here knows what a sleeping Tama looks like anyways!

April 5, 2010!

Hey all! Sorry for the brief lapse...Taka is now a Tamatchi!!! I stayed up a bit too late last night geeking out on BJDs, and my fiancee was asleep in the room with the Tama, so when he beeped this morning, I was not there like I usually was (was still going at 8am!) to feed him and clean up his poops (I sleep so lightly, its scary..I think I was a fugitive from the law in a past life, because the SLIGHTEST noise wakes me...) it wasn't until just now (about 5:15pm my time) that I realized Taka went all day with no care! I flew into the bedroom..sure enough, 4 poops, sick, hungry, and pissed.

I promptly cleaned him up and fed him and played 3 games with him...he's in much better shape now! I have to watch myself over the next few days..I really want my Kutchipatchi! Taka is a 1G boy, so I think I'm in the right bracket to get one!

I'm going to tape him to my FACE so I never forget again!

WOWZERS! Sorry all, I have not updated mein Tama log-ski in a whist. I have been doin' big-time wedding crud since I arrived in the UK and now I have time to sit!

My dear Tama has been reset due to a scare involving a spilled glass of water on the Tama...all is well, no worries! She is a girl Obotchi names Chiyo and has been a joy to care for! I wish I were a less lax in taking care of my Tama, but I also am engrossed in my Nintendogs as well...

On the bright side, my dear fiancee and I are currently bidding on ebay for a pair of Tamas and hopefully they will be coming home soon! One if for my dear fiancee and the other is a surprise gift for a friend of ours who really wants a Tama! If we are lucky enough to bring them home, I will start including info about those Tamas as well!
