Frustration

So I got another pack of CR2032s today and went to go resurrect my Angelgotchi and my second v2 (which I am going to delay doing until my other Connections become children again). I dug out my Angelgotchi and hunted around for a screwdriver small enough to get the screws out. Now, due to my own not thinking, I had stripped the screws out pretty badly a few years ago (Righty-Tighty, Lefty-Loosey, yeah yeah, I got it) and after trying several different drivers I finally got one to fit down below the stripped portion and pull the suckers out (I'm very glad that Tamas nowadays use one big screw, I may have to find replacements for these ones)
Elated, I opened the shell up like a treasure chest only to find... two LR44s. Oh fie.
Now, I had never successfully opened my Angelgotchi before, I only ran it for one battery life and so I had no way of knowing (not having done the research) that it needed LR44s.
Now I have an extra CR2032 and when my two connections run down (I started them at the same time) One of them will get a battery and one won't, or I'll have to get another pack so I have two but then I'd end up with another extra.
I'd start another Connection, but I only have two v2s and v1s kinda pale in comparison... (I have a v3 somewhere though)
Also, inside of my Angelgotchi, above the batteries is a hole as though for a large battery, but with nothing but a shiny plate underneath. Anyone know what this is for?

Don't worry, it happens to all of us. I remember when that happened for my devil, thankfully I had some spares. The worst part is that LR44 are pretty hard to find now a days. Good luck finding a pair! (try looking on eBay for cheap amounts in bulk).
So who are you going for on the angel? I like to go for gingitctchi (spell check)? Good luck.
I am pretty sure the blank battery hole is there because oriinally (or so I wa told) tamas were going to take three batteries

Genjintchi
, the caveman Tama?
jin
means person in japanese (human is
ningen
) and I think
gen
means ancient or primitive(?), so genjin = caveman

Haven't been to the store yet, but I'll get someone to look for them when they go.

I believe the character is called Gingirotenshi. Anyway, I sympathize with you. On my first P2, I managed to strip the screws really badly. Now the tama has only one screw, but at least it works.
