Boxing Day is the 26th?
In Finland it marks the end of Christmas and is "sunday" not depending what weekday it is. After 26th comes "the days inbetween" aka. days between Christmas and New Year

Yes, Boxing Day is the 26th.  Not really celebrated in any way other than eating vast amounts of leftover Christmas turkey and pickles.

Sounds like our boxing day. Except ham, potato/turnip/carrot gratines and rice porridge instead of turkey and pickles

Usually the big hatches (like Holiday and Back to School) are not centered around any version of Tama or other VP, people can hatch what they want, and as for the Christmas/Holidays people are going to get (plenty) of new VPs and they want to hatch their new ones.

Themed group hatches and challenges work better when held in messageboard than in real-time chat.

Once I had none VPs active so I hatched a chicken egg in Harvest Moon farming video game and pretended it was virtual pet Then later I sold the chicken to poultry dealer and got 1500 in-game currency

Good point. I little of topic here, but in 2010 is there any chance of doing the ocean challenge again? I missed the first one and would love to participate.

I have channel auto-logging active in my mIRC client so yes, we can post the chat log later in here (after it's cleaned up of all the useless join/quit/ping error etc. information lines)

Well looks like the 24th and 25th for me are clear with working. Boxing day (26th) I only work until 2pm that day. I'm not sure yet what my schedule at work is past that (27th-31st) but when I find out I'll let you know So there's a good chance I can attend this one if it's in the later evening.

Still deciding if I'm going to hatch or not.
