EDIT:

The question in the first place was: "Between Christmas and New Year or after New Year?" and the choice nr.1 "Between Christmas and New Year" has won the compete with votes 7 against 1

The poll has been changed to determine which actual day you want the Holidays Hatch to take place? 26th day or 27th day of December?

(original message:)
So the time of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and all their cousins are coming in couple of weeks and after that we have New Year's festival which have usually been the time of year's biggest group hatch and chatroom event here in Tamagotchi Social Sphere.

For some people better time has usually been between 26th and 31st of December, for some people after 1st of January (next year)

What's your vote for 2009 Holidays season?

I'll think of good day and time after I've gathered some opinions with this poll. Best choice has usually been Friday or Saturday as most of the forum users have school or work in weekdays.

So Father Time says vote vote vote!

A Boxing Day hatch might be fun.  Smiley
I missed the Spring hatch, so would look forward to this.

I'm leaning towards before new years and in between the holidays (first option).

My only concern right now though is being able to attend and being able to hatch anything. I just started my new job in late October and I'm not sure what my hours will be like once training is over (lady who works where I am said after training the hours will go down, but right now I'm doing a lot because I'm still training).

Now I know hatching has never been a big deal but let us hope this won't be the first holiday hatch where I have to miss it because of work  Tongue fingers crossed all!

Also yay for father time <3 Go for it Kokuma ^_^

I like the New Years at midnight idea. I think I'll hatch my angel, whenever the hatch is. It fits Christmas pretty well for me. Smiley

Oh, and I don't mean religious Christmas. I just like the general holiday cheer and the tree. ^_^ So please don't be upset for me not mentioning every other holiday of different religions. Smiley

I think we've moved over that. Couple of years ago we had here a person who didn't celebrate Christmas and took all Christmas-related conversation really personally and got angry and pissed off cause there is word "christ" in name Christmas.

I hope people understand we are talking about holiday here, not about religional celebration.

I have tried to encourage people telling about other celebrations and traditions they have/do in December and around New Years, but it seems the topic is rather difficult to conversate cause it includes so strong feelings and emotions.

Faith is good thing, unless it turns to "fhate".

and back to topic:

I'll keep the poll this way for another week and after that I change the question and choices to ask which actual day and time you want the poll to take place, so it's not necessary to post requests about exact day and time yet. Thank you

I have already voted but just as follow up on it...

Boxing day not really celebrated in the US, I have never heard of it until you mentioned it. On the other side of it, 12:00 might me a little late for some. Another thing I think we should do is make this a challenge, like the ocean one you had last year... but this time with the angelgotchi/santagotchi (Holiday themed tamas) but that might exclude some, although I think here everybody has a pretty thorough collection. Any insight or additional comment could really help.

Ah, sorry about that! I was making sure I wasn't being offensive to anyone, and I wasn't aware of the incident a few years back.
