I looked this up on Wiki, out of interest. Wiki says that rechargeable button cells "are commercially available, but are not commonly used due to their inferior capacity or higher self-discharge"?
Rechargable CR2032s are used in computer mother/mainboards. They keep the computer's main clock in time and give voltage to the
BIOS system even while computer is shut down. BIOS neds voltage for that clock feature and some other small processes that stay always active .
If you disconnect computer from wall electro plug for several weeks, the motherboard CR2032 loses the charge but will recharge in couple of hours after the compu is plugged again into electro network.
This describes how it's in tabletop computers, I don't know about laptops, I've never opened one.
Basically they could release rechargable CR2032s into stores with recharger that can also handle button batteries aside AA/AAA/C/D/9V, and that "ecological CR2032" thing would work well with Tamas and other accessories that use CR2032s like pedometers.
Maybe in the future they make color screen Tama that has built-in accu and you can charge it with cellphone recharger or micro-USB
