Just figured it would be easier to post in this topic since we got more spambots coming in.

I'm already aware the spambot in question has been making new topics in the general section. In my abilities as mod I can only edit the messages. I can't move them to a trash section or anything because that would need to be setup by Kat.

I suggest any further issues with the spambot recently, try emailing Kat on her main page of mimitchi.com. I lost her email unfortunately to contact her directly so hopefully the main page emailing webpage can help.

Wish I could do more guys but all I can suggest really is just don't respond to any of the topics and when Kat becomes available she can deal with the bot problem head on.

Also keep an eye on new usernames who join the forums. If the profile looks fishy, PM me and let me know. I'll keep an eye on them.

I'll keep locking the topics and editing the content for now. Thanks for the patience.

I managed to find the email I caught her on last time we had an issue. I don't know if it'll be any faster to reach her, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

If you see anymore topics spring up let me know and I'll edit/lock them for now.

Sorry I've had family in town and not been at the computer.

Spammer killed, posts removed. I didn't even look at it, i can just destroy it all without looking, but I'm told it was horrible.. I apologize for that. There is only so much I can do honestly.

Edit:
Alright here's something I did that might help greatly. I removed many of the allowed scripting abilities that were allowed to be coded into posts on the board. Only basic html and BB Code is allowed now, no more scripts of any type can be used in posts if I did stuff correctly.

I could disable the IMG tag, but I know people enjoy posting images in their posts so I did not turn that off.
