No one likes to see a virtual pet leave us. Some believe Tamagotchi go back to their home planet and some believe they just die. The Japanese story is death and the US story is back to the home planet.

But like real life we all have our own beliefs and thoughts on Tamagotchi.

If you would like a place to leave a goodbye to your pet, this is the place for it.

This is not about Tamas, but...

I used to have 2 Furbies back in the 1999 or 2000, and later I gave them to neighborg family who has 3 kids and not-so-high income (meaning the kids didn't have many toys) and the 4yo and 6yo girls were like jumping high to the roof as each of them got their own Furby. I also bought AA batteries into ecah of the Furbies.

Later they moved away, propably parents got better jobs in another town, but in the summer 2001(?) I saw the younger girl cycling in the sidewalk near their house with her tiny bike, sidewheels and the brown Furby Baby I gave her tied in the doll chair on the back of the bike ^^

She seemd so happy.

EDIT: some typos and missing letters...

I daydream that there is a place outside time or space from the normal world called the Magical World, and it is in this place where the Tamagotchi world is. There are several countries in the Tamagotchi world, each is a rich land with plenty of Tamagotchi. There are some people known as "Tamagotchi Masters" who raise Tamagotchi, know much about Tamagotchi and protect Tamagotchi.

When a Tamagotchi dies within its shell (by shell I mean a normal Tamagotchi case) it appears in Tamago Park, a place in the Tamagotchi world. There are two major events held in Tamago Park annually. They are the Easter festival which lasts from Easter Saturday until Easter Monday and Tamagotchi's birthday which is 23rd November. (I think that's the day Tamagotchi was first released anyway.) During these events you can do things such as buy old Tamagotchi such as the Umi no Tamagotchi and the Tamagotchi Angel. Tamagotchi Masters parade around the area at certain times too.

For me, the Magical World is the place I go to whenever I'm faced with one of life's little problems or I just want to relax. Most of it seems very real to me, so there are real people who are Tamagotchi Masters in my imaginary world if that makes any sense.

By the way, Kat is a Tamagotchi Master.

Kokuma, that was very kind of you!I'm sure you'll get something good in return.

As for Tamas dying,I believe in a P1/P2/etc. the Tamagotchi dies.If an egg with wings appears on the screen of any connection, the Tama died.If the parent leaves the baby, however,I believe they go back to their home planet to live out the remainder of their life.

Interesting note...My birthday is November 23rd!Cool,Tamagotchi was first released on my b-day! Grin

Kokuma: That was definitely the right thing to do. You rock!

MistyKetchum: You and my brother both!

As for death/home, I believe it's death because it kind of seems more realistic. (example: A marutchi that has never seen a meal in it's life and stayed like that for a day and a half sounds like it'd die.)
