I just got a tamagotchi music star, but I can't seem to figure out how to get points other than selling CDs at music town. The games only give experience and nowhere in the directions or anywhere on the Internet can I find how to make gotchi points!!!

So far, I've found the claw game has given me quite a few points, although I can't remember which sector it's in. x_x

I don't know if you two are talking about the toy or the website...

To get gotchi-points on the website, just play some games, or enter a music contest. If you do well in the contest, you might win a small amount of GP or quite a large amount. You can't transfer gotchi-points from the website to the toy.

To get gotchi-points on the toy... At certain times of day the door icon will light up, when you answer the door usually Nazotchi will be there with a letter. Once a day the Gotchi king (on your first generation) or your character's parent (second generation onward) will send your character some money. The most I've gotten from a parent was 25,000 gp. When your character is an adult, you can play the "away" games which pay money (cake shop, or fruit harvest) these don't pay much. The most they will pay is 600 gp for a perfect game. When you adult band gets a "pro debut" they will be paid 10,000 gp right away. When your bands star ranking reaches 1st, you can be paid up to 10,000,000 gp every day! If your character's band doesn't get a pro debut, your stuck playing the away games to get money until they go pro >_<

I don't understand why Bandai would make games that don't pay money. Its brutal on the first gen. where you only start with 3,000 gp -_-
