I got my Tamagotchi music star a few days ago, but i don't really get it. When your a teen, how do you get fans and win awards. How do you perform with your band and make cd's with your band? Please help.

You don't get fans until adulthood. That's why. In the teen years, you are mostly practicing to get good to get fans. Once you're an adult you go to the studio to practice there, you get more fans probably when you do well in studio practice and so fourth.

Egg -> Baby, 1 minute
Baby -> Toddler, 1 hour
Toddler -> Teenager, 24 hours
Teenager -> Adult, 30 hours
Adults able to marry, age 5-9
Adult -> Oldie, age 9-10
Oldie able to marry, age 12-13? (I think)

Perhaps for some maybe. My generation 1 female became a mimitchi at 3ish so we both could be right on that.

Username for your Music Star? Or for the website you mean? If it's for the music star I think you login using that name o_O; Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't bother using the online net site much.

@Nitichick: For the Tamagotchi Music Star website?
You have two 'usernames'... your Music Star ID (the one saved on your Tamagotchi toy) and your Music City ID. You need to get the latter by pressing the 'get a free account' button on the Music City website.

Once you're logged into the website with a Guest character (has a red hat), click the small 'Log in' button underneath your character's image on the side panel and a prompt will appear. This is where you enter your Music Star ID.

You can find your Music Star username, if you've forgotten it, by selecting (on the Tamagotchi) the first icon, selecting 'Player', and pressing 'A' to cycle through the screens until one appears with a picture of your pet with the word 'USERNAME' underneath, and by that, your username.
If you're like me and just put all spaces in that space when you first booted your Tamagotchi, just don't put anything in the box on the website.
