Imagine a tamgotchi where you have to raise your tamgotchi but once they die they go to tama heaven or hell. You go on tamatown and see your old tama struggling in hell and happy in heaven. If your tamagotchi goes to hell, that means you didn't care for it well enough and if it went to heaven, you cared for it very well. So it would have depended on you raising it. How would you fell if your tama went to hell for eternity Huh

Uh...question. Is there no grey matter? In all the designs from the first tamas, you had the most neglected characters to ones you can only get with specific/perfect care. There are ones that require some levelling of both caretaking types...so where would they go? That's what I wanna know.

Also too, the whole heaven and hell thing for virtual pets in N.A wouldn't/does not work because of some person or persons would get offended and give Bandai a hard time. Some people can be sue happy, and it would just be a public relations nightmare. A big debate on religion would ensue and insanity would follow. That's why they normally keep religion or any symbol of religion out of virtual pets. Especially the hell part of it. You know how many younger kids might get upset at that? The parents would go insane lol.

If your Tamagotchi went to hell, then Bandai would release a new incarnation called Devilgotch. Grin .......Oh, wait....

I don't think that's really applicable to Tamagotchi tbh. Bandai has played with that somewhat, in that you can get a "naughty" or unmannered adult character. If anything, maybe discipline would factor into that. But neglecting your Tamagotchi wouldn't really ahve an impact on its morality, nor should it go to hell cause you starved it to death or something. Unless it came back as a spirit, in which case Sam & Dean recommend digging up your Tamagotchi, salting the pixels and flushing it..... into dust. Yeah.

And of course they also have the Devilgotchi character in Tamagotchi Angel, which comes from some kind of neglect I guess? As well as the Devilgotch incarnations. Angelgotch and Devilgotch imo are pretty much what Bandai has put forward for that idea, I think they have some neat backstory and ideas in that regard.
