I currently have 3 P1's running, two of which I got only a few minutes ago. My blue P1 is running a Marutchi named Groove. He is a day older than his siblings. I am trying to make him into a Kuchipatchi so I'm neglecting him a bit. On my brand new purple and green P1's I hatched Billie Jean (aka BJ) and Dill Pickle, respectively. As babies, there's not much to be said about BJ and Dill Pickle at this time. But right now I can tell you all about how I've been taking care of Groove. I'm using Mimitchi's method in attaining a Kuchipatchi; I am neglecting him in his early stages but once he changes I'm going to treat him perfectly. I let him beep at me for attention and only fill his hearts up to one each. I've been lazy about cleaning up after him and I didn't turn out the light last night. I hope he becomes a Kuchitamatchi tomorrow. I am hoping for BJ to become a Mametchi and Dill Pickle to become a Ginjirotchi. Let's see how all this comes along.

Thanks, TigerLily Smiley That's a great idea; I'll definitely post some pics in this log.

Now...on to the Tama's. Groove is now 5 and became a Kuchitamatchi a couple days ago. That was good. But I don't think I've been taking perfect care, mainly because I'm a big fan of sleeping in. I'm a little concerned because he hasn't called for his last discipline yet. I know I have all day but I worry that maybe I missed it. Plus, I let his hearts drop too many times. I hope he doesn't become a Nyorotchi. Way back in '97 my mom always got Nyorotchi on her Tamagotchi. She let me play with it and I remember how scared I was of Nyorotchi. I'm obviously not scared of it anymore but I'd definitely be sad if I got it.

I feel I've neglected BJ and Dill Pickle a little bit as well. I've had hearts drop from me being asleep; they beeped at me for food this morning which woke me up (it was about time). The best part about having hatched them at the same time is that they lose hearts, poop, get sick, and beep together. That makes my job a heck of a lot easier. But I doubt BJ will be a Mametchi. Though Dill Pickle may still very well be a Ginjirotchi. I just need to discipline them both all the way, and I think BJ will be a Ginjirotchi too. They are both 4-year-old Tamatchi's right now. I just don't want a Masktchi out of either one of them because it'll remind me too much of Sascha, my previous Tama.

When all three reach their adult forms, I will post a picture  Wink

Just a quick SURPRISE update. About 5 minutes ago, I heard that familiar changing tune. I thought, "Oh, it couldn't be...could it?" I thought all my Tama's were too young to change. When I found the source of the beeping, it was Groove. He was making his change into a Kuchipatchi. At 5 years old! Is the change a bit premature? I have always only had my Tama teens become adults at 6. Sure, the surprise is pleasant, considering I got exactly what I wanted, but I was definitely expecting the change tomorrow. Have any of you had a P1 teen become an adult at 5? This has never happened before. I mean I was shocked. He didn't even ask for his last discipline. I'm still just reveling in the excitement that comes with the early change. Hooray!

EDIT: All of a sudden, BJ and Dill Pickle are 5 years old. They skipped being 4 apparently. If Groove is 5 and BJ and Dill Pickle are a day younger, they're supposed to be 4, right? Freaky...

Today was the first day when all three of my Tama's have been adults. Check out the results:

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u61/misfitskid1191/mamekuchigroup.jpg

If the picture isn't clear, BJ and Dill Pickle (the two outer Tama's) became Mametchis today. In the middle is Groove who is, as I already mentioned, a Kuchipatchi. I thought that all my sleeping in would be bad for BJ and Dill Pickle but it really wasn't. The hearts did drop quite a bit throughout the growth process.

I discovered something today. The character you get on a P1 Tamagotchi really depends mostly on discipline. General good care in the beginning (regardless of discipline) helps determine what teenager you get. For instance, Groove became a Kuchitamatchi because I took poor general care (not cleaning up right away, leaving the lights on, disciplining whenever he beeped, keeping his meters at one heart full only). I still gave him full discipline. But as a teenager, the main focus is discipline. Because I disciplined BJ and Dill Pickle 100%, that triggered the tranformation into Mametchi. I believed that the hearts had dropped enough times for them to be Ginjirotchis so I disciplined all the way. The hearts didn't matter.

I think I'm going to make a web page about this discovery I've made. I've had 5 out of the 6 characters (I haven't had Tarakotchi yet but I know exactly how to get it) so my experiences will help a great deal in this project. When I finish it I'll post it here.

Groove just passed away. Literally, like two minutes ago. I was cleaning up after Billie Jean, when I heard a beeping noise. I wasn't sure what Tama it was coming from; BJ looked fine but I thought it might've been her because I just touched her. But then I thought: which Tama is most likely to die right about now? I looked down at my blue Tama that hangs around my neck...and surely enough, it was Groove. I'm not going to hatch another one at this hour of the night. I'm going to wait until morning. But I will write his memorial/eulogy over in the departure section.

BJ and Dill Pickle are doing just fine. They haven't been much trouble at all. I actually put batteries in my V4 and hatched a Mohitamatchi named Wimzy. I'm going to log Wimzy's progress here as well. So far her points are as follows: Intelligence: 19, Fashion: 6, Social: 8. I hope she becomes a Kuchi teen; I've never had the Kuchi family before in the history of my V4 training. It certainly is something to hope for.

I've just decided to start posting pictures of any major transformations that my Tama's go through or any scenes that I feel are important. I think it would make this log far more interesting. Also, I'm getting to work at my website about the P1 character theory I have. I just need to go back on Bravenet and start building the page  now that I have a url. I will post it when it's finished.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I've updated this thing. I think it's about time I did it.

In the egg that once held Groove, I hatched Chunky. I tried to make Chunky into a Tarakotchi. Everything worked out perfectly. He went from Babytchi to Marutchi to Kuchitamatchi...and he finally changed into Tarakotchi in the middle of Spencer's Gifts while I was buying a new purse. It's an awesome Jack Skellington purse. I'll include it in the picture I take of Chunky  Wink

Dill Pickle and BJ are still hanging on. They'll be 15 tomorrow. For some reason the buttons on my purple one have been getting harder to push but since it's still operating just fine otherwise I can't complain. Though I am getting bored with them. I want new (and different) characters on those two Tamagotchi's!

So, the whole Kuchi thing didn't quite pan out. Wimzy was an Ichigotchi, and I chose to raise her to be a Violetchi. I will take a picture of her as a Violetchi as well. The funny thing is, both Wimzy and Chunky have changed this week during two instances in which I was shopping. I didn't even hear Wimzy's music when it happened. I'm expecting the Matchmaker within the next couple of days. *sniff* I never have anyone to mate with through IC... *sniff sniff* Waaaaaaaah!  Cry

OK, enough of that. Tomorrow is picture day, so stay tuned folks!

I'm sorry guys. I totally lied. I didn't get around to taking pictures. If Chunky is still with me tomorrow, then I will put them in tomorrow's post, but I know Wimzy won't be because she had a baby yesterday. But I promise that this log will have way more pictures.

Billie Jean and Dill Pickle are no longer with me. I had an extremely long nap (5 hours) yesterday and for some reason, their beeping didn't wake me, while the beeps of Chunky and Wimzy did. They passed away at 15. I held off the new hatchings until today.

On my green Tamagotchi, I hatched Till, who is a Marutchi. He is named after Till Lindemann, the frontman of Rammstein (my favorite band).

My purple Tamagotchi will soon be home to a creature who is to be named Oliver, after Rammstein's bass player. With Oliver, I'm doing a special hatching. I'm creating the egg at 11:55 PM so that he hatches at midnight. I've never hatched a Tama that late into the night before and I want to see what the result is. Wish me luck with this experiment, and tomorrow you can say hello to Oliver.

Wimzy had a baby girl yesterday. I don't have a name for her yet. I have at least 9 hours before I have to name her so it's no problem. I'm hoping for her to be in a family other than Meme!

I'm here now to give you an update on Oliver. He was born at midnight, July 22. He went to bed at 1 AM at 1 year old and 10 oz. I know he'll be 2 in the morning, but when will he change? Because he became a toddler at 1 AM I have no clue what the future holds for him in terms of evolution timing. But I can tell you that he is going to be a Nyorotchi. Till is going to be a Ginjirotchi, so the two will be polar opposites instead of the same thing like last time. This should be fun. Raising two different characters instead of two of the same. Yeah this is gonna be awesome.

Unfortunately, Chunky DID pass away the day I planned to take his picture. That day I hatched Richard, named after Rammstein's lead guitarist. I am raising him to be a Masktchi and, hopefully, the secret character. He is currently a Tamatchi, discipline is at 50%. It's going to stay that way.

With the others, everything's working out perfectly. Till's a Tamatchi at 75% discipline and Oliver is a Kuchitamatchi with 75% discipline. That is the furthest I'm going with discipline for these two guys. As a result of his adolescense I am taking much better care of Oliver now. Lights go off, poop gets cleaned up. I'm still lazy about the game with him though.

Wimzy's baby is named Maggi. She is currently a Ringotchi. I have chosen to raise her to be a Maidtchi through the help of Miss Flower, her schoolteacher, and the dance game. I'm always sure not to feed her too many snacks, because I know that increased weight leads to universal characters. And I don't like the universals because they're not that cute.

More updates (and pictures!) to come within the next few days.
