I don't know what's wrong with my furby! Cry

When you turn on the new furbies they say 1 of 3 phrases: Hey, me Furby!,
*Oscar Meyer Wiener*-a-doodle-doo!, or Hee Hee Hee.

Well, I started him up and he says one of the phrases. However, halfway he cuts off and starts a new phrase. Over and over again.

I try to feed him but he just repeats the phrases!

Does he need new batteries or is he broken? Huh

I have a 2005 furby. Her name is Ah-may. She is a Brick Red furby.
And redwing, it's C-O-C-K a doodle doo,not *Oscar Mayer Weiner* a doodle doo!

That's not really solving the problem they are having isn't it o_O

...I remember the first time I got one I bought him to a family barbeque, he was
speaking jibberish and my Uncle called him a rat.  Lips Sealed
OMGosh! Still laughing...

My husband hints at drop kicking a furby.  Angry Only on penalty of death, of course.

A couple of months after I got the baby furby I found someone on my street who
siad they were going to throw their furby out. I raced home and got some money and went back to the persons house and asked if I could buy it off him. He said
yes
and I felt so proud that I rescued a furby Cheesy He was a little brown one.

Aww, I love  this. Well done.  Smiley

Kat has several...and by several I mean a 6 foot, 5 shelf book shelf filled with them 2 deep (Kat: or 4 giant large boxes). I can tell you this, the ET
Furby is the most frightening thing I've ever seen in my life.

No way!  Shocked

What is the ET Furby?

````````````````````````
I have a mere four furbies. They all have their originial tags and still work. However, I don't remember all their names.
My first furby was the brown one (Toh-Loo) in the back. But my favorite is the blue and pink baby followed by this brown one.
I think this blue one is my daughters but she gave it to me ages ago. Oh well, one woman's junk is another woman's treasure.  Wink The violet/cream one is another baby.
Ohh, worry.
I think my husband will be glad to know that he's not the only one who doesn't like the furby. So I pulled a Cesar Millan association trick and fed the dog cookies near the furby and then she didn't mind.
Furbies + treats = E-day (good)
Snickerdoodle:
We both have the same furby! I have that brown one as well. He was my last furby I ever got. I saved him from being broken by someone up the street when I was 8.
Nice pics btw Smiley I should post a few of my furbies. I haven't taken them out of storage in years now!
[edit: removed huge quote -kat]
Yours are so pretty. I've been thinking about getting another one sometime. I have one that's tiger striped with big bright blue eyes...but it's comatose o_O;;; See when it was on it would get bored easily then go to sleep...and you had the worst time trying to wake it up. when you did manage to wake it up it would go back to sleep >_< So my current furby is moreso eye candy lol. I wanna get either another older one or those newer looking ones that listen to voice commands.
Ah... When the Furby came out, we searched for them, and when the stores did have them, they cost more than we expected to pay 'on a toy'. Some of my far-away relatives had a Furby Baby, but it was put away for being 'too noisy'.
So I got the (often) cheaper alternative, also by Tiger, the Poo-chi. I also had the Meow-chi and Super Poo-chi.
I really wish these pets got more attention than they did, but that's for another topic.
I have some of the new Furbys, though! I have a tan Furby with a white tummy with little pink and purple threads in the white. I also have a Funky Furby, purple with light green. Matching in colour scheme is my Furby Baby, the new kind. I know a lot of people were very disappointed with this one, but I think it's adorable. (especially the loud grinding noises from when it turns on x_x)
some furby fans are disappointed cos the new ones lost the Infrared sensor and react in different way than the original furby Wink
I like the new furby too. But i love so much Furby '98 and Shelbys (makes me laugh a lot, maybe more than a Furby!)
The Mimitchi log about Furby is one of my favourite! I love her stories about that period and the adventures in the mall and toy stores. Kat is great Grin
