Furbies are in my heart, i love the old and new ones. I love all Furbies!
I'm exciting for Pleo (the robotic dinosaur) and i hope to have one soon...

I don't know what's wrong with my furby!

When you turn on the new furbies they say 1 of 3 phrases: Hey, me Furby!,
*Oscar Meyer Wiener*-a-doodle-doo!, or Hee Hee Hee.

Well, I started him up and he says one of the phrases. However, halfway he cuts off and starts a new phrase. Over and over again.

I try to feed him but he just repeats the phrases!

Does he need new batteries or is he broken?

I have a new furby ($10 at Wal-Mart ) and I think the part of the programming that sucks is that when you leave it alone, it doesn't do ANYTHING.  It just sits there.  At least the original furby would like say something, grunt, dance, sing, etc.  But the new one, YOU have to initiate everything.  The only cool part is the voice recognition thing, but it only has like 5 different things you can do with that, so after that, I was kinda like..ok what else is there..? I haven't played with it since.

Thats pretty disappointing..

Sounds like its buggy, that he's had some form of rave drug and is tripping out extremely XD!!

But yeah sounds like a program problem. I'd return it.

I still have my three furbies. I used to play with them all so much. My first one was a black one with a white tummy and mane. I loved him soo much (I was in grade 2 at the time). I remember I would freak out whenever the batteries would die because it would start making really weird noises.

The folllowing year I got a baby furby for my birthday. I was so excited about getting it. It was light blue with white tummy. He was a really cute one.

A couple of months after I got the baby furby I found someone on my street who siad they were going to throw their furby out. I raced home and got some money and went back to the persons house and asked if I could buy it off him. He said yes and I felt so proud that I rescued a furby He was a little brown one.

I have so many furby memories. Me and my friend Jenny when we were in grade 2 had a furby wedding We wanted our furbies to be married. We invited all of our friends and they all brought their furbies, I remeber I had a bunch of my Tamas there with me to. It was so funny. There must have been at least 12 furbies in the room. I also had two neighbours who were about 45 or so and they had two furbies and I would always go over and visit them and bring my furbies along. And whenever they went away on holiday they would give me their furbies to look after for a couple of weeks while they were gone! They moved away though and I was very sad when they moved.

I had so much fun with furby but I am more into Tamagotchi now. I will always keep my furbies because of how much I loved them back when I was younger but I don't know if I will become furby crazy again .

aww cute story Ginji. Sounds like some really good times, definitely worth charishing. That Furby wedding musta been really funny. Did you put him in the 8-ball mode question-answer type game thing? (brain not working)

"What about now?"
*pets back* "I'd say yes"

I'm with you, I have so many good memories attached to furby, but I don't think I'll ever feel that furby craziness again either.

LOL no we didn't put them in the 8-ball mode. That would have been such a good idea. I remember my furby kept falling asleep during the little ceremony! hehe.

Hahahha a sleepy fellow =) reminds me of the guy in Spaceballs the movie that couldnt stop yawning during the wedding in the beginning. 

(really old but really good movie... hmm in case some wanna check it out and haven't seen it I should say that it's full of potentially offensive language as it's R rated )

I have 7 furbys!LOL!I have a tuxedo furby with brown eyes(Koh-Koh),a grey tiger-stripe furby with grey eyes
(Doo-Moh),a light green back+pale yellow tummy furby with grey eyes(A-Loh),an all black with silver tips furby with blue eyes(Toh-Loo),a white with brown spots furby with brown eyes(Noo-Loo),a regular tiger stripe furby with blue eyes(May-Lah),and a giraffe furby with blue eyes(Mee-Mee)!Isn't Ebay a wonderful thing?

I remember my firts furby
it was a limited edition 2000 millenium furby
I hate it I dont like the color, I dont even realize that it was a limited edition
well, I cant pick a color bcos my dad was the one who bought it for me
I played with him alot though, even though I dont know what his name was or what he was talking about

I dunno where he is now... but I wish I can find him again
