November 20th 2006

When Tamagothi and Gigapet and other brands came out with the virtual pet, i had nearly one of everything! Something around the total of 6 on one key ring! From what i can remember - i had a tamagotchi angel, a looney toons multi-chara, a baby gigapet (not sure if it was gigapet or not), two regular tama's, and a few offbrands that had aliens and such in it.

So with the release of the new tama connections a while back, I had decided to buy a tamagotchi connection v2 online via a lowtraffic auction site early this year, and had kept it secret so it could be a part of a three-way christmas present which would include two more new tama v3's. But my snoopy younger sister decided to look for presents, and found it! So, yesterday i activated him. His name is Alvin =)

November 21st

Alvin went to sleep just before i did, and when I woke up, he was already awake! And he had changed into a toddler. (The spoiled one, mind you)

This is getting exciting =) Cant wait until christmas, or sooner, that I can get two more tama connections to play with with my siblings.

November 25th

Thanksgiving was a wonderful day! Minus the normal spats between my mother and I, we had a deliciously unique holiday. =) Ribs, bbq weenies in a fondue pot, hors devours galore, and so much else. I even made special raspberry chocolate cheesecake crepes. (needless to say i'll be making more of those)

Alvin was pretty well behaved, i think i took TOO good care of him, he was sooo spoiled until i had to take him to work yesterday. I had to neglect him a bit because I was so busy, but in the evening when things slowed down I showed him off. I was so excited to have one, i was showing him off to EVERYONE and explaining my glittered childhood with the ones i'd had previously. Everyone seemed happy, even though I expected people to think it was a childish thing. But i've noticed something - when someone is open about the thing they love, and aren't phased by others opinions, then those opinions quickly change. =) Theres hope!

Anyway, back to Al - last night, he did his normal routine. Went to bed at precisely 8 pm, and work at the same time. I woke up a bit after him, so he was awake and in his teenage phase still. after some research i'd done - today he should evolve into an adult. Not sure when that would be, i took care of what he needed right away, cleaned him up, fed him, played a long game of jump! and let him relax.

Not even two minutes later, he grew up! Checkers across the screen and everything, then i look and he is changed into Hanatchi! He's the one i wanted =) I was so happy, i ended up dancing around the room. Haha. I'm SUCH a dork.

My mother says this is the replacement for my oath to never have children. I tell her nooo it's not a replacement - it's the next best thing. (and no poopy diapers, at that.)

Thanks everyone for reading, can't you tell i'm happy to share? hehe.

Sounds like you had a great holiday and so did Alvin!

I so agree about people seeming open to things when you stand solid on your beleifs. I've also noticed that when adults see another adult playing with one they are more interested and less likely to think it's childish or a toy. People are sure funny sometimes =)

Nice logs to read, looking forward to more Smiley

November 30th

My brother and I went on a Kmart trip recently and bought the v3's we are getting as a group gift for xmas =)

But, guess what happened that just completely made my night last night? I got an unexpected visit from the matchmaker! I didn't know what to do at first - but then my research came back to me, if i refuse the matchmaker, she might not come back and alvin will grow old =( I didnt want that - so I clicked "yes" on the question of "love?". The screen went blank and fireworks erupted. Ohmy, He had a baby!

During lunch, I discovered that Alvin had left (sad, i know) and was replaced by his lovely baby girl. I was quite happy. I started asking random people good baby girl names. Noone was of much help, so i decided on my own - Naeta. I thought of the name "tomie" after one of my favorite japenese movies, but I had already put in Naeta. so tomie will be for next time!

This forum is a good help and you guys are all so supportive and fun. thanks for all the info =) Lets hope Naeta grows up healthy and strong.
