Here is my shameless plug for my under-development page, Masktchi's Loft (www.masktchi.co.cc). Also of note, this is  the shortest paragraph of the post. >_>'

For anyone who doesn't want to read through the entire post, here's the premise: The Loft foremost will be a personal blog of sorts for random thoughts, musing, politics, current events, gaming & Tamagotchi/Digimon. I'm going to work on individual sections for various topics, including Tamagotchi/Digimon. They will have their own pages with info, logs, and other stuff. I'm prolly going to have a blog section to encompass all logs/blogs and sort/list them in an appropriate manner, but section-specific ones should be available through their respective sections too. I'm debating how the layout for the blogs, sections and index page will be, as well as how the blog layouts and archiving will fit into that. I'm also considering posting my Tamagotchi/Digimon blogs in their own section here.

I'm also considering a domain name, as it's more consistant and nicer looking. masktchi.co.cc is simply a URL direction, but it's my 'official' address as it looks nicer/cleaner, and is somewhat easier to remember than a subdomain (hosts have some pretty funky names... not that 'Masktchi' is all that commonplace I suppose now that I think about it >_>' Silent T FTL!!). Not only that, it remains constant in the event of a host change, should that ever occur. I have the option to mask my real URL, but that just means that masktchi.co.cc will always show up for all pages, which has its own problems. As I'm typing this however, I'm devising a possible solution to this problem. I'd rather avoid the hassle of registering a domain and shelling out money for it anyway, however minimal. Especially if I can program a clever, free solution which is fun in the process. Grin Just one less thing to keep track of and pay for.

It's been a while since I webmastered, but I did a lot of messing around with HTML (and Javascript to an extent) way back around 2000ish, after our family's first computer. My friend's Angelfire site & encouragement were what got me aware of the possibility of even having a site, as well as starting my own. I was still into Tamagotchi to some extent at that point iirc, as that was a main focus of my page. The only person from here that might've seen it would prolly be Kat, but I don't know if she was even aware. For anyone interested, it was an Angelfire page heavily inspired/influenced by Mystic Fortress. It was collectively known as "Hidden Valley" (yes, like the ranch dressing, to my later dismay), at least towards the end. "Tamagotchi World" was the main section, but also included... a non-existant or prolly very undeveloped Furby section (you can probably tell it was basically a Mystic Fortress fan site/cheap immitation/rip-off XD It was very similar in terms of content and design), as well as one for the game Creatures. The Tama section is really the only one I remember having content for, the others were kind of aspiring projects which never really had sufficient material or development. Man, that took me back...

Anyways, back to the point. The Loft is primarily going to be a blog for my random thoughts, musings, current events, politics, etc etc. Some of the content will be Tamagotchi/Digimon related, as well as having to do with some games such as WoW, Starcraft, etc. I'm thinking that it will be organized in such a way that there will be listings for various topic-specific blogs (Tamagotchi, Digimon, games, etc), where those blogs can be listed separately. As for my other topics and musings, I'm not sure, but they will prolly not be listed in the same way, as they will be fairly varying/random I imagine. Maybe divided by field of interest to an extent? We'll see, it's all under development still.

Like a lot of logs, I imagine random stuff and life will be tied into the Tamagotchi/Digimon blogs to an extent, especially with my extreme tendency to tangent off tangents to the fifth power. However, they will be separate posts and sections from the ones which are specific musing, rantings, random thoughts, etc. I'm also considering the possibility of posting my Tamagotchi/Digimon logs here as well.

There will be sections for information, logs and other stuff re: Tamagotchi/Digimon eventually. I think Digimon will be my first endeavour, as there doesn't seem to be content in the same way for it, especially the sucessive versions and incarnations. I'll also have Tamagotchi pages which will eventaully cover my collection and the different Tamagotchi incarnations. With regards to this, I'm hoping specifically to provide more thorough, detailed, informative pages for the rarer, lesser-known Tamagotchi like Devilgotch, Genjintch, Tamaotch, etc. Again, another set which I felt have not been covered or, often, even made aware of.

There will be other pages in there in the future regarding my other interests as well I imagine. Just as Tamagotchi/Digimon will have their own section and collection of logs separately accessible from my collective blog, I'm interested in sections regarding my gaming passions and blogs regarding said exploits and random happenings. One of the biggest draws which brought me to the decision to return to webmastering was the creative and writing outlet it would provide. A different activity and broadening of horiozns, of sorts. Also nice to be reimmersed the old atmosphere of creating and scripting your own pages. Having learned Java in recent years (my professional focus is in Computer Sciences) and having more experience and focus than in the past, I'm really looking forward to the possibilities. However, I will be contented simply doing it as a creative outlet for myself, an expression and place of musing, regardless if my page is unknown or if I gathered a fanatic following.

Anyways feel free to check out my site, or what is currently up anyway. I will likely be adding blog posts later today and onward as the layout and site are being developed.
