The pink-green logo says "KIGURUMI KIGUMII"

The suits that those characters in the Kigurumi Kigumi advertisement are wearing are called "kigurumi". And the ppl dressed as some mascot character in sport matches, Disneyland and example that person in Mametchi suit in that Tamagotchi music video count as "kigurumi".

Kigumi translates into "attitude" and "prepareness".

Google gives 0 hits with words "kigurumi kigumi"

I think this VP is like the cat one in "fake" VPs which had screen in the place of it's face and when you were not playing with it you saw it's face in the screen with different face expressions.

Maybe the actual VP is inserted into fabric pouch that looks like suit?

That black text above the pink-green logo is too blurry to be read succesfully...

'cos it has a somekind of TV commercial... In the pic
and there's a newspaper below the cases... I think this toy made it to the news paper in japan, COOL!!

Oh, I read Kyarumi? Anyway, I guess Kokuma'll be right, because I've not done much Hiragana, or Katakana (no Katakana actually...)

It looks interesting... Japan always has all these wonderful VPets that you can never find out enough about! Shocked

That second character in green hiragana word is KU with " mark in the right side, making it GU. " means it softens the syllable, like KO" -> GO, TA" -> DA and that way.

I can see why you mixed it with character YA. Those little dots (") in the right are extra mark, not part of the character.

Plus "kigurumi" is the japanese word for that kind of animal costumes the VP characters are wearing.

Ah right - I'm sorry, I thought "KU" was a lot bigger, so I thought it was a little ya modifier because it has that little ' on it. Smiley
