Further Details on Event
Be it celebrating love, or celebrating friendship or just buying a bunch of chocolate to soothe some relationship-blues, February 14th is St. Valentine's Day. What better way to hatch this day than to show some love for our digital companions eh? This hatch is going to be pretty simple. No logging involved, no mini-contests. Just good company of one another this day Smiley Totally worth it this time keeping things semi-simplistic no?

BTW for those who want the transcript of the Holiday hatch, PM me if still interested. Thanks!

FAQ Regarding this Chat Event
Q: Does it matter that much what you hatch?
A: Nope! You're allowed to hatch and get whatever character you wish to aim for on any virtual pet your heart desires. It's just more fun and interesting to put in some extra pats on the back if you get some mating action going on or something lol.

Q: Do I need to restart or reset any of my virtual pets?
A: It's not needed if you don't want to. If you have babies on pause on a tamagotchi, just unpause it when hatch time comes. If you have parents leaving the children that night, set the time to before midnight so they'll leave you a baby. If you do wish to reset or start over on a virtual pet, it's completely optional. I know some people here wouldn't want to mess around with their generation numbers too much. I can understand that.

Q: Does it matter if I hatch or not?
A: Nope! If you just want to come in and chat with others in the room during the event, that's okay too.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Sure! All friends of Tamagotchi Social Sphere members are more than welcome to join us in chatting and even hatching if they choose to. Please keep in mind though that they are not exempt from the rules TSS has set out for rules in chat and the forums, so I suggest letting them know ahead of time what is and isn't allowed to be done/said in the chatroom so to prevent any chatroom drama or other issues. We want the chat to be friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

Q: What if I can hatch, but can not attend the chat event?
A: Well since we're not doing the group logging this time for this hatch, you're more than welcome to log your hatching here individually or the way I've done it is log on my own website and go from there. It's entirely up to you!

Q: What if I can't attend or hatch? No problem!
A: We'll just have to try again next hatch now won't we lol.

Q: I'm having trouble getting into the chatroom before the hatch date. What do I do?
A: If you are using mIRC to get into the chatroom, currently (if this information changes Kat, let me know and I'll change the connecting information) you connect using irc.everywherechat.com by typing into mIRC "/server irc.everywherechat.com" and if your username is registered you might have to put in your password. After it shows you're connected, type in "/join #Tamagotchi" and you should be in the room by then.

If you are connecting through the forum's link on the left hand side for Tamagotchi Live Chat, make sure all flash and java on your computer is up to date for the chat to work properly. Suggestion would be to make sure one or both methods work before the hatch to cut any stress from the day in question (I notice a lot of folks forget this at times. Be sure at least 24 hours ahead that chat is working for you! Anything can go wrong with chat, so more notice to fix bugs, the better!!!). Any problems or help required, Let me or Kat know privately and we'll try to help you out!

I think this pretty much covers everything. If you have any further questions, concerns or just comments, feel free to leave them here

There's a good chance I won't be able to come. I have a convention that weekend I'll be going to, but if there isn't anything going on around noon I may be able to sneak away to be here. I'll try with the timing, but I don't know the schedule yet so I can't commit.

Well after that V5 RAAAGE that was chronicled in my log, I am Tama-less and planning to hatch at this event.
I was thinking about hatching both of my V2s, but that'd make care at school complicated and I don't have enough good batteries to support their love life anyway! ^o^;;
So, I think instead, I'll hatch my V4.5.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

should look into registering a name on the IRC channel...

Probably a good idea. I take it you did see my posts in your irc problem topic then so you can correct the problems you've been having?

Hehe TL, bed hatches are the best! Cheesy

I bring bad news though, I didn't think I was doing anything tonight, but the friends have decided to meet up and have a gaming night to celebrate the single life haha.  -___-"

PC's about to be packed up and we're off to a house for some LAN'age.

If by 4am, I am still awake and well enough to operate machinery, I will do my best to join in. If not, I'll still hatch my little one and join in the hatch log. Smiley Sorry about this, it was an unexpected invite. >.<
