my friend and i have just received a tamagotchi connection...i think it is v3 gen1 but i am really not sure(it's second hand), it is the second picture from the left on the pics on the top of the page...any way every time i put in a password it says error...does anyone know why or how i could fix it?
The first question to ask yourself is "Is this connection debugged?" which means did the previous owner open the tama up, and perform a certain procedure on the microchip so you gained/lost some abilities on the tama? When you debug a V3, you lose the ability to go to tamatown and use passwords.
If this isn't the case, next question to ask yourself would be "Did I put the correct username?" The username has to be exactly what's on your tama for it to work on Tamatown. Mine is BECCA so it has to be BECCA on tamatown to work.
Now if you're sure you're putting in the username correctly, then ask "Did I put in the right password on my V3?" Keep in mind when you get the password off the site, it's best to have your V3 with you to put the password in immediately. After a period of time I noticed the numbers change, so doing it on the spot is the best way.
If you checked all these things and it still is not working, come on back and describe the problem in greater detail but I'm sure one of those things above could be why it isn't working.
PS: V3's can mate with V4's. If my V2's can interact with my V4's then probably V3's can as well. It just makes sense
