Question: Do you refer to your V5's (be it english or the japanese ones) as Famitamas or Familitchis?
I call them all Famitamas since the Japanese ones came first! - 2 (20%)
I call them Famitamas because it's easier to say! - 0 (0%)
I say Familitchi because that's the name I'm most familiar with! - 2 (20%)
I call them all Familitchis because I like that name better! - 1 (10%)
I use both names when referring to them. - 3 (30%)
I don't like either name used. I use another one! (Post your alternative name) - 2 (20%)

I honesty had this one question on my mind for like a week now. I've ALWAYS called english V5's famitamas since that's the name I learned of first, and I had the Japanese ones first.

Then add the fact the english version and Japanese version are exactly the same in programming (just different languages).

I just like how famitama is easier to say than familitchi (for me anyway).

So what's your preference? Discuss Cheesy

I'd say that I use both names, I usually refer to the non-japanese ones as v.5's but occasionally I use familitchi. I always use famitama for the japanese ones. I like famitama more over familitchi, I think just because it has "tchi" on the end of a word doesn't make it a tamagotchi

I agree with you TL, FamiTama just seems to roll off the tongue. I don't think I've ever even said Familitchi outloud, haha.

I call the FamiTama the 'Japanese V5' and I call the Familitchi the 'English V5'.

I say "familitchi", because that's what I'm familiar with. Although, I usually refer to them as a "version five" (:
