Sounds like an interesting spin on the Tamagotchi Connection series. When you get to the part about mating and matchmakers, let us know! I'm curious if that function is different or not.

Thank you so much. Smiley
And yes, I will for sure tell you about the matchmaker stage. It sounds to me (from reading the tamagotchi manual) that BOTH parents stay with the egg or baby for 24 hours.
I thought I'd give some info about the main games, so I'm going to write what it says in the manual. Here it is:

Sing a Song:
First, listen and memorize the melody example. Then it's your turn to play the same song using 3 buttons. Songs will get harder as you proceed through each level.

Music notes:
Get rid of falling notes by selecting the correct notes. Use button (A) to select the right notes and press button (B) to eliminate the falling notes. (Honestly, I cannot figure out this game for the life of me!)

Sound Block:
Jump from block to block (which will come and go randomly) and keep going until you reach the goal block. Use button (A) to jump left and button (C) to jump right. When the number in the block reaches 0, it will disappear. Be careful not to fall off.

So far, since my tama is only a teen, school also has a game. Pre-school has the jump rope game (Woot!), and high school has a game where you click the right buttons when the music notes appear. This game is fun because you see the rest of your band practicing with you!

Another thing is that your tamagotchis can turn into seniors! When they do, you can form a senior band. Isnt' that funny?

Another thing:
There is a "door" icon now. It's really cute, because when you select something from the "Door" option, it shows your tama walking out of the door. When you select it, it says "Away", "Shop" and "PC". When you click "away", you go to school. (And maybe the music contest when your tama becomes an adult. Not sure...) When you click "Shop", yup, you guessed it, it's the shop!  And when you pick "PC", it gives you the log-in code for TamaTown.

Speaking of TamaTown, it says on the back of the container that your Tamagotchi Music Star comes in, that there is now a Music City online. It's like an entire new town. It says you can personalize your own music room, create and produce your own music tunes, and upload your tunes and become the #1 star.  Tongue
When I searched for this "Music City", I couldn't find it! So I contacted Bandai, and they emailed me back saying that the site will hopefully be starting this week!
Btw: My Tamagotchi Music Star just turned into a mametchi! YAY!

As soon as a figure out how to take nice pictures with my digital camera, I will for sure post some! When ever I take a picture of my Tamagotchi, the screen is always flushed out! Do you know how to take clear photos of tamas?

It might be the angle and if you have flash on or not that could be messing up your photos. I use my webcam for doing my pictures and if you check out my virtual pet logs, you'll see I use either the main lighting in the computer room for when the sun's down, and the rest I have my webcam angled so when the sun's up I can just put the tama really upclose to it. Some virtual pets and their screens are obviously easier to photograph than others. You might have to experiment.

For me though the easier solution was keep it simple with a webcam and get one of those new flourescent light bulbs which are brighter and easier to take pictures.

Arg...the only thing is, I dont have a webcam >.<
I will try different things with my camera until I get it just right.
Thanks for the advice, though Smiley

It might take awhile to get a good one, turning off the flash might help, the macro setting (which is a flower symbol on most cameras) might help too. When I take a picture of a tamagotchi, I lean it against the keyboard so its facing the light and the screen can be seen clearly on the camera.

My Tamagotchi Music Star mated yesterday. It isn't any different from the normal match-making stage, except for the matchmaker doesn't come. Your boss (or something. He pays you also, that's all I know lol), comes with one for you. Tongue

I just picked up a Music Star and just hatched it.  I will advise as soon as I play with it more.
